Welcome to the beautiful Westerwald!
Our Elsa vacation home is located in Nisterau, a charming village about 2 km from the spa town of Bad Marienberg.
From the Limburg, Montabaur, and Herborn highway exits, it’s about a 25- to 30-km drive to the vacation home.

The entrance to the house is at ground level, and there is only one low step inside.
A lovely covered patio with seating and a grill invites you to relax.
Inside the house, you’ll find a cozy living-dining room with a sleeper sofa for one person, a small, fully equipped kitchen,
a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a bathtub with a shower enclosure.

The quiet location on the outskirts of town ensures a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Access to hiking and biking trails is just a few meters away at the entrance to a nature reserve featuring a beautiful stream, Basaltsee (not a swimming lake), and a quarry.
Numerous other recreational activities can be found in the immediate vicinity.
Bad Marienberg offers a beautiful wildlife park with an observation tower, a large children’s playground, a well-developed climbing forest, a fitness trail, and excellent dining options.

You can also play mini-golf, walk along a barefoot trail, or visit the recreational pool with its sauna area.
In winter, a ski lift and groomed cross-country trails await visitors.
Additional ski lifts can be found in Kirburg, about 5 km away, and in Höhn, about 6 km away. Golfers will also find plenty to enjoy: in Stahlhofen on Lake Wiesensee (a swimming lake), about 11 km away, a well-maintained 18-hole golf course invites you to relax while staying active.
You can catch a movie or explore a beautiful historic town center with a castle in Hachenburg, about 15 km away.
Not far from Hachenburg, a visit to Marienstatt Abbey—with its adjacent beer garden, brewery, and numerous hiking trails—is also a tempting option.

We’d be happy to serve as your starting point for many wonderful activities that will make your vacation in the beautiful Westerwald an unforgettable experience.

Your four-legged or feathered family members are also very welcome, provided they do not use the beds or upholstered furniture. We do not charge a daily fee for them; instead, there is a flat rate of 20 euros for the entire stay.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 3:00 PM and check-out is from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
