Here’s some information about a modernly furnished vacation apartment for three people, located in the attic of a quiet vacation home on a hillside, set back on a side street. From the large balcony, you can enjoy the view over the houses in front.
The house is surrounded by flower beds and lawns, where roses create a nostalgic, rural atmosphere in the summer. The flowers and the half-timbered structure, painted in Hessian red, are unique in the vacation village.
The vacation rental is accessible at ground level from the north side via just two steps. You can park your car directly across from the entrance, just a few meters away. The key drop-off system, featuring a key safe, offers independence and allows for flexible arrival times. The apartment is bright, welcoming, and designed with a harmonious color scheme. Two modern bedrooms with hotel-quality beds—freshly made and inviting you to unwind after an eventful day—are ready for you. Both rooms feature blackout curtains. The small bathroom features a walk-in shower, a toilet with a higher seat, and white bathroom cabinetry set against a fuchsia-red wall, creating a modern, contrasting, and warm atmosphere. A small washing machine for daily light laundry is built into the room.
The kitchen, featuring a cooking island, allows you to socialize with your fellow travelers while cooking. A refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, and plenty of kitchen utensils ensure a smooth cooking experience.
In the living area, the wood-burning stove invites you to spend long, cozy evenings in front of the fire during fall and winter. Books and games are provided in the cabinets to help pass the time. Of course, the space is heated in an environmentally friendly manner using modern electric heating.
The German Tourism Association has awarded the apartment and its ambiance four stars! The nightly rate includes all utilities, ensuring transparency.
In just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll reach the Kellerwald-Edersee National Forest, where the wonderful network of trails and peaceful atmosphere offer relaxation. Did you know that Frankenau is part of an “Ark” region? Here, old breeds of domestic animals are still preserved. So a peaceful and certainly relaxing vacation awaits you here in this oasis of well-being.



The Oasis of Well-Being:

This modernized and bright vacation apartment is located on the top floor of a vacation home and has a floor area of approximately 67 square meters. The apartment is equipped to accommodate three people. You reach the separate entrance via two steps and the access walkway on the north side. Upon opening the front door, you’ll find yourself in a small entryway with a coat rack; to the left is the bathroom, which features a shower, toilet, mirror, and sink. A hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, towels, and a small washing machine are provided. The shower is walk-in.
To the right of the hallway is the first bedroom, featuring a double bed (hotel-quality with thicker mattresses), a desk, and a chair. A wall mirror, blackout curtains, an insect screen, and electric heating are included. The second separate bedroom is directly adjacent. It is similarly furnished with a French bed measuring 1.40 x 2.00 m (hotel quality), a large wardrobe, a wall mirror, and electric heating. The room has a skylight with a blackout pleated blind.
The entryway leads to the open-concept living area with an integrated kitchen featuring a cooking island. The kitchen area includes a dishwasher and sink, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, a toaster, an egg cooker, and various pots and pans; the kitchen island features a stovetop, an oven, and a range hood. A blender, hand blender, and baking and casserole dishes are stored in the drawers. Adjacent to the cooking island is a small table that seats four.
The living area adjoins this to the south. It features a satellite TV, a radio with a CD player, a wood-burning stove, two armchairs, a sofa with a glass coffee table, and an old bookcase filled with books and informational materials. The sideboard holds dishes and glasses, as well as a few board games. You can also access the internet using an access code.
Adjacent to the living area on the south side is a balcony furnished with four garden chairs, a square table, and a patio umbrella.



Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from midnight to 11:00 AM.
