Great Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My second time at this beach house. Plenty of room and great location! House is great only needs a few mini blinds replaced and a small leak in the kitchen ceiling from condensation. My only complaint is trying to get someone to come and fix a toilet seat and check the leak from ceiling. That is on the maintenance from LCR.

Would recommend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great and convenient. It had plenty of room for the five of us, 2 full beds, a pullout couch and a pullout chair. The only complaint we had was that it didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. The fridge had something in the bottom of it and the bathroom walls had something splattered and dripping down. Also, clothes from previous renter was left in a drawer in the bedroom and we found a pill in the bathroom cabinet. However, we had a great time at Lakewood and highly recommend the resort.

Great stay at Lakewood!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with how clean the villa was, and there also was no problems with ants at this villa location. Very thankful to have a washer and dryer also! The only issue was we rented a golf cart and were told by the management that there was no way to plug in the golf except for the front porch outlet. There is no extension cord, so if you rent this property and want a golf cart, make sure you bring one with you!

Best vacation especially if you have children

The villa we rented was so wonderful. There was no problem with sleep. The kids ran and swam all day and were super tired at the end of day.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit smelled very musty upon entry. Black mold everywhere in main bathroom. Contacted the maintenance people who were kind enough to stop by and check it out. Ultimately, two ladies came and cleaned the bathroom. The place was also infested with ants...more than just the typical “beach rental ants”. I shut the door to a bedroom which prompted 100s of ants to descend from a seam in the ceiling. We ended up leaving a day early. Still haven’t received security deposit. Have stayed in this campground multiple times and this was by far the worst experience.
