Our family had a great trip! The house was great (even better than the photos). The sandy beach, dock, deck, and yard were awesome! There was lots of room for our extended family. We’d love to come again in the future!

Fantastic location, great home!

Location on lake with dock, beach and patio was fantastic! Common areas were large and comfortable. Number/allocation of beds was confusing. Advertised as a 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, however there was only 2.5 bathrooms. Separate main level suite with Murphy bed was good.

Not as good as it looks

The home was not clean, piles of bugs on the floor, crumbs on the bed frame, mustard on the sofa, some other stuff -maybe chocolate on the bench, screens were torn, cobwebs on windows, handprints on windows, sand on floor. Also, Vacasa did not follow through with us, we felt we were always talking to a bot. The house itself was cute. Unfortunately it is right next to a public beach, so for that price, a little more privacy would have been nice.

Great location and beautiful view at Christina Lake

Beautiful view of the lake, large spacious house, perfect for family with a dog as the yard is fully fenced and the patio is also fully fenced. Wifi is great. 2 and 1/2 bathrooms and large kitchen and living room area. This house has a very good layout for more than one family to enjoy privacy. Just a walk up the road to Kool Treat and mini-golf also not far away. Lots of kitchen gadgets and pots and pans and dishes. Not quite as clean we would have liked to see, but very quick response to any of our requests. We would stay here again.

Our Family of 6 and a Dog stayed for a week in July

Our week at the Re-treat: Our family of 6 and our Labrador retriever spent a week at Re-Treat in Christina Lake. We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we needed. The hi-lights include the lake access, sandy beach, grassed yard, beach fire pit and the dock. The water is very deep by the dock and great for diving and the beach by the public access is quite shallow which was great for wading / playing in the water. The house was plenty big for our family. Lots of indoor and outdoor space, The dinning room table that fits 8-10 the bar room with the murphy bed is seperated and sort of a private suite. The kitchen had all we needed, including a waffle maker and a griddle. The BBQ grill is practically new and worked great. The wifi was easy to connect to and handled our high volume using teenagers. The AC worked fine - especially the new heat pump in the master bedroom. The front yard (side closest the street) is fully enclosed and the deck on the water side is fenced with a gate – so pretty easy to keep the dog safe. The house was very clean. There were ample towels for the beach and the bathrooms. There were some sand toys and board games provided. We really enjoyed the multi-game board with Clue. We had use of the garage, which was great to keep our van cool. All in all a great week at Christina Lake! We would definitely stay again!
