Nestled in the peaceful hills of the Almería countryside, Casa Tomaddi is an adults-only (16+) rural hideaway designed for guests who value comfort, privacy, and understated style. It is ideal for couples or small groups of friends or family looking to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of inland Andalusia.

Casa Tomaddi is designed to offer comfort and flexibility for groups of us to 6 people, with spaces for everyone to enjoy together and smaller nooks for those who want quieter time. Quality furnishings, thoughtful touches, and plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces make it easy to relax together or find a quiet corner to unwind.

ACCOMMODATION

The property consists of two separate, recently renovated accommodations rented together for up to six adults:

Casa Mookie, a charming cortijo-style house with:
1 superking bedroom with hot and cold air conditioning and en-suite shower room
1 king bedroom with hot and cold air conditioning and separate bathroom with bathtub downstairs
1 living area with 50 inch Smart TV and log burner, sofas plus single sofa bed (for more flexibility of guests)
1 living area with full size Foosball table
Large kitchen with dining area, gas oven, washing machine, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster

Apartamento Ruby, a self-contained studio with:
Hot and cold air conditioning
Superking size bed
Smart TV with live channels and streaming services (log in with your own accounts)
Sofa area
Desk with ergonomic chair for remote workers
Bathroom with wet room shower
Kitchen with fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, toaster and kettle
Dining area for 2 people

Games Room
Guests have exclusive use of "Rusty's Games Room", which contains a full-size free-play pool table, seating areas, board games and an "honesty bar" containing drinks and snacks.

OUTSIDE SPACE

Guests have exclusive use of a private 8 x 4 meter pool (heated from May to October) with deep and shallow end, several terraces for sun and shade, and the tranquil Long Garden with hammocks and orange trees. There is a gas BBQ and paella grill for your use as well.

THE AREA
Casa Tomaddi sits along a rambla — a traditional Spanish dry riverbed that now serves as a rural access road. It's about a five-minute drive from the main road and easily accessible with a regular car. Parking for up to three vehicles is available (with additional parking also available close to the property). A car is essential, as public transportation is not available nearby.

The area offers endless natural beauty, with hiking routes starting almost from your doorstep. From gentle meanders through the hills to more challenging climbs, Tom can suggest trails for any level.

Just 2 km away, Bar Angelita serves authentic Spanish cuisine and is a welcoming hub for locals and visitors alike. For a special dining experience, also 2km away, Casa De La Dolores comes highly recommended — personal, intimate, and deeply memorable (open Thursday to Sunday afternoons; advance booking is a must, and we're happy to help).

Further afield, the nearby towns of Oria (15 minutes) and Albox (20 minutes) offer a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops, with everything from Spanish tapas to international cuisines.

We're Tom, Maddi, and Rusty, your hosts at Casa Tomaddi. We live onsite in a separate house and will welcome you personally, showing you around before giving you full space to enjoy your holiday. You can always reach us by message if needed, and if you prefer full privacy, we're happy to arrange alternative accommodation for ourselves with advance notice, at an additional cost.

Having moved to Spain in 2024, this project has been our dream — to share this beautiful part of Andalusia with others. We created Casa Tomaddi to help guests celebrate special moments, strengthen bonds, and disconnect from everyday life. Our hope is that you'll leave feeling refreshed, fulfilled, and inspired.

And of course, you may meet our friendly rescue boxer, Rusty, after whom the games room is named. He's a gentle giant who loves human company but will happily keep his distance if you prefer — just let us know.
