Iam a native Oregonian from 1950-1992. Moved to Colorado in 1992 to expand my vacation property idea. called GH Housing. Over time I developed a beautiful 3 bedroom home with a pool and desert mountain view in Fountain Hills, AZ. Eventually I found myself locating this spacious River property in 2023 and begun developing 3 acres above a wild river called the North Umpqua River with good salmon and steelhead fishing. You can also bring your rubber raft and drift down to the beautiful Winchester Park from a boat ramp in Glide, OR. This property sets in a beautiful rural country setting, located 12 miles east of I-5 from Roseburg. A great location where part of the family may want to visit Diamond Lake is 1.25 hours away and Carter Lake is 2 hours away. While maybe others want to play golf at the impressive Bandon Dunes Golf at 1.5 hours away. The Pacific Ocean is only 1.25 hours away to Reedsport and Winchester Bay for good charter fishing and exploring the coastline to maybe even try dune buggy riding in several Sand Dune areas. If you would like to visit the mts.of colorado. GH Housing has a one bedroom 1100sf 12" log cabin with hot tub over looking the small town of Rifle Colorado from a private 10ac.parcel perched up on a Mesa accessed by a gravel road. GH Housing also has 4- 2 bedroom townhomes along the Eagle River should you have a reason to visit this area of Eagle County. Great location to stay in the winter or summer to explore this part of the country, located 2.5 hours west of Denver on I-70.

I love the peace and quiet of the rolling farmland with cattle and deer that hangout. The sound of the river can be heard while setting outside enjoying your BBQ or on the deck and paver patio, while enjoying an evening around the fire-pit over looking up and down the North Umpqua River. Use of firewood is provided for a fee on site. The Fee is listed under Property Fee.

What makes this place unique is the vision that I brought alive with beautiful setting of the main 3 bedroom house called the "OverLook Home". Below this main home I built this charming 2 bedroom guest home was built called the "Cliff House". It also has a private walking pat to the river frontage for more fun and games.
There are several walking paths just 3-5 miles from the unique creation that was wonderfully landscaped for your enjoyment and plenty of grass to play on. There is also a Sonos stereo system through out the property to play your favorite songs off Spotify or XMSirus.
You can also inquire about renting both homes for a family event.
