Escape to this private lakefront home in South Dakota’s beautiful Glacial Lakes Region, just minutes from Waubay. Perfect for fishing trips, hunting weekends, wildlife adventures, or peaceful family getaways, this comfortable and modern retreat offers space, privacy, and stunning lake views year-round.
Sleeping Arrangements (6–8 Guests)
• Two private main-level bedrooms
• Open loft with king beds
• Loft includes a private walk-out deck overlooking the lake
The loft deck is ideal for morning coffee, sunset views, and incredible star-filled night skies. Please note: the loft is accessed by steep, narrow folding stairs and may not be suitable for young children or guests with mobility limitations.

• In-floor radiant heat for cozy winter stays
• Wood-burning stove for relaxing evenings
• Mini-split heating and cooling
• Large windows with beautiful lake views
Whether you're visiting for summer fishing, fall hunting, or winter ice fishing, the home is designed for comfort.
Lakefront Access
The property sits directly on the lake with shoreline access available. A dock is planned for Spring/Summer 2026. Until then, guests may enjoy direct shoreline access.
• No lifeguard on duty
• Water and kayak use are at your own risk
• Children must be supervised at all times
Wildlife sightings are common, including bald eagles and waterfowl.
Outdoor Space
Enjoy outdoor gathering areas perfect for grilling, relaxing, and taking in the peaceful surroundings. The property offers privacy while remaining close to Waubay and nearby lakes including Enemy Swim, Bitter Lake, and the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the home and outdoor areas. The garage is reserved for owner use only.
Security
• Exterior cameras monitor the front porch, doorbell, and backyard areas only
• No indoor cameras
• A decibel-only noise monitor (no audio recording) helps ensure quiet hours are respected
Pet Policy:
Well-behaved pets are welcome with prior approval and payment of the pet fee. Pets are not allowed on furniture and must be crated when left unattended in the home. Guests are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste and for any pet-related damage.
