Plan a Zion trip where the day actually slows down. Narrows Nest is a brand-new modern 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin in the quiet community of Orderville, Utah — built for two, all on one level once you're inside, and the kind of place where you settle in within an hour of arriving rather than living out of a suitcase for the week. Perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, milestone trips, or any week you want to come home tired from the trail and still have a real evening waiting for you.
THE LAYOUT
Three steps lead up to a covered front porch with chairs — your spot for morning coffee and sunset. Through the front door, the kitchen, and living room share one open space anchored by a gas fireplace, with a short hallway off the back leading to the king bedroom, the full bathroom (tub-shower combo), and an in-cabin washer and dryer. That's the whole footprint. No upper floor to climb after a hard hike, no extra rooms you don't need.
THE KITCHEN
Built for actual cooking, not just reheating. A drip coffee maker, an ice maker in the fridge, full cookware, and counter space to prep dinner together. The kitchen island seats two for breakfast and works as a laptop surface if one of you has to take a call mid-trip. Fully stocked with starter coffee, basic spices and oils, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, and an ice chest for park days.
THE HOT TUB
Just outside, the hot tub and gas BBQ sit on the side of the cabin. The hot tub is uncovered intentionally — Orderville is far enough from city lights that the Milky Way is part of the nightly view from anywhere outside the cabin, and an open sky overhead means the stargazing while you soak is genuine. Deer and wild turkey wander through regularly.
WHAT'S PROVIDED
Fiber optic Wi-Fi (handles video calls), smart TVs in the living room and bedroom, central A/C and heat, in-unit washer and dryer with detergent, and standard new-construction safety equipment. All linens, bath and spa towels, hair dryers, and toiletries provided. Self check-in via lockbox at the door.
LOCATION
Zion East Entrance 25 minutes; Zion's main Visitor Center (where you catch the park shuttle for The Narrows and Angels Landing) about 50 minutes; Bryce Canyon 1 hour; Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park 30 minutes; Grand Canyon North Rim 2 hours; Kanab 25 minutes for full grocery, dining, and gas. St. George airport is under 2 hours; Las Vegas and Salt Lake City are both about 4–4.5 hours. Most guests fly into Las Vegas and pick up a rental car.
ABOUT THE LOT
Narrows Nest sits on the same lot as our larger 4-bedroom rental, Narrows Landing — separated by privacy walls on the cabin's side, with its own dedicated 2-vehicle driveway and no shared amenities. If you need more space for a bigger group, Narrows Landing is bookable separately.
