Great property. We had an issue with a balcony door and contacted them to let them know. Within the hour a very pleasent efficient handy man had fixed the issue.

Very nice area. Beautiful view of the ocean. Clean, very nice pool and amenities. Had a great time with friends. Will be back.

Nice place by the beach

The condo was clean and well kept. The views were amazing. Communication was good. Instructions were easy to understand. The 2nd bedroom and bath were nice for our teenager. We would definitely stay again.

Nice property, would stay here again!

The property was nice. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely and the view from the balcony was beautiful! The furniture wasn’t very comfortable but doable. And the pans provided were not very good to cook in! Still a nice room to come back to after a long day at the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Will be back

Very friendly and quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Easy and quick access to beach with close by bathrooms so you don’t have to back to condo room and water to rinse any sand off. Pool was also nice with inside and outside areas. Beautiful view. Room was clean and just as expected.

need more supplies.

Needed more than the starter pack of supplies. Only two garbage bags two dishwasher packs two dish towels one laundry soap. some basic spices. there was no salt pepper. cooking spray would help. just basic stuff. nice place.

No responds to fire alarm going off in condo.

The fire alarm went off when we opened the door. We could not turn it off. It took until 1 in the morning for you to put us in another room. The alarm was so loud that when we went to our car we could still hear it 10 floors down. Worse thing I have ever experienced traveling. They refused to reimburse us for the night even tho we spent over half of it in a car.

Pros and cons

It had a beautiful view. The balcony was nice. The furniture was a little outdated and not well supplied. Every time we use the dryer it made Such a loud noise that you couldn’t use it. We contacted the property manager about it, but nobody responded. There were batteries missing some of the remote. For the TV. There is some mold on the shower curtain in the master bathroom in the guest bedroom. There was no room to move around. It needed either a smaller bed or a smaller dresser.. There also was not a proper supply of towels in the bathroom.

Find something else

My family and I have rented at the Majestic Sun for the past 5 years and the units are nice and the view is amazing. This unit run by Vacasa was rundown and no where near as nice as other units we’ve stayed in. I’d be cautious of not just this unit but others managed/owned by them. The unit is priced just as much as other nicer units we’ve stayed at but this one is extremely basic with chips in the tile, stains on the base boards, walls, couch cushions and comforters. We also had to kill two roaches while at the unit and decided to not report it during our trip because we didn’t want to have our vacation ruined by fumigation/treatment. The toilet seats even look like ones at truck stops with stains and worn out spots on them. The ceiling fans had dust caked in the blades and motor units so overall makes we doubt the cleaning process. Not sure if it’s due to COVID but there was no beach umbrella, chairs or anything thing like that available that other units provide. Mind that the price for this unit is no less than the other nicer units we’ve stayed at in the past but just weren’t available for this trip. I would really look else where before booking this unit. Based on this experience we’re going to look at other properties because if Vacasa starts to buy more units at the Majestic Sun I’m concerned that the entire propriety will begin to reflect their lack of quality.

Good Enough

If you are more into who comes with you, rather than where you stay...then this place is perfect. We arrived at about 2:30pm, check in is at 4pm. We were able to finally access the condo 12 minutes prior to check in. Vacasa assured me the condo wouldn't be ready until 4pm due it being cleaned currently. We all stood outside the condo with all of our luggage from 2:30 to 3:48, waiting for the code to work. No one was there cleaning no one exited the condo. The condo is very spacious and the view is incredible. The towels we hard as a rock. There was someone else's wash cloth that was wet left behind in the shower. The towels had stains, shower curtain had mold. The beds were not very comfy. I would suggest not asking renters to remove the linens from the bed when the mattress topper is covered in stains. The couches were very uncomfortable. It did have a washer and dryer which was nice. But when you use the dryer, after about 10 minutes, the entire wall behind the dryer starts vibrating and making a very loud noise. Loud enough that I called maintenance because I was worried something was going to blow up. They do provide a few small things you might need. But if you plan on cooking here know that there are no chopping knives, there is no large pot, only 2 very small sauce pots, and 1 stock pock, a medium and small frying pan. Neither are non stick, there are no lids. There is an ice maker, which was a plus. None of the codes they gave us for the gates worked.
