The Space:

This beautiful, second-floor, blue-and-white, lavish, Gulf-front vacation rental includes a private balcony just off the living room that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. The primary bedroom is on the Gulf side with doors leading to the balcony as well. Other features of this condo include a kitchen with upgraded tile countertops; new appliances, cabinets, and fixtures; a full-size refrigerator; a cooktop stove and oven; a microwave and dishwasher; and all the dishes, pots, and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathrooms have upgraded fixtures, cabinets, and decor with marble accents. The primary bathroom even has a blue marble jetted tub with a separate, large, walk-in shower. The living room includes a leather sectional with a TV, a DVD player, and a CD stereo system. The primary bedroom offers a TV, a DVD player, a VCR, and a luxurious, light and airy feel. The second and third bedrooms feature a TV, a DVD player, and a VCR.



Things to Know

Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Perfect Place

The perfect family vacation

We absolutely had a blast while we stayed here. There was plenty of room to move within the condo and it was right on the beach! The porch was big enough for my family if 5 to all sit out and enjoy the view together. We will most defiantly be staying here again when we visit the area.

A nice place to stay

Overall, the condo is a good place to stay. The condo is very spacious. The furniture and decorations are very simple and basic, but it works fine. There's nothing fantastic, but nothing bad either.

Just what we needed

Layout of the condo was great. We had six adults/teenagers so the large sofa, two additional chairs and large table were great for us to all sit together. Even a table and enough chairs in the patio for us all. Primary suite bathroom has been updated, which is nice. Enough towels, dishes, silverware, pots and pans to make cooking at the condo convenient. Nice beach, two chairs and an umbrella included - make sure to snag them first thing in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay at Island Echos.

Great unit

The property is perfect! The unit was great. It had plenty of space. The tub is massive and we enjoyed it! Only negatives are it’s a little outdated (if worried about that) and there is carpet in the bedrooms. It can get sandy and damp. Other than these couple of things I would not hesitate to rent again!

spacious on the beach (pros/cons)

We liked the large balcony, 3 bathrooms, and ease getting on the beach. We did not like the UNheated pool, slow maintenance fixes (garbage disposal, air conditioner), and carpet in the bedrooms. If you're looking for top of the line, keep looking. If you want space and ease to the beach, it will meet your needs. Also, if you highly value the pool, it is truly too cold to use if you come in the spring. Probably it heats up in the summer. Happy Vacay!

Disappointing amenities

Location was the best, across from the beach, however the coffee maker was broken, one shower was plugged up the refrigerator had condensation and the dryer would not stop on its own, could be a safety hazard. Will not go back to this condominium in the future.

Terrible. Dirty furniture ,dirty rugs, water stains on ceiling in living room, Master bedroom has torn curtains, old stained furniture in Living room. Picture is deceiving. Dried vomit in one bedroom on rug near closet. UUUGGH...Disgusting... The view was great. Only saving grace. Would not rent this unit again. Poorly maintained and certainly not clean. Furniture needs replacement and floors replaced. Ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Kitchen stove only 2 burners worked. Worse I ever stayed at. Got the run-around and excuses why the unit was not ready.

Pick another condo to stay in

Positives- the view was excellent. Location was very good. Island Echoes was well maintained. Loved the 3 bedrooms and 3 bath. Beds were comfortable Negative- on the second day I called to tell them the dryer wasn’t working properly. Even for a small load it took 2-3 hrs to dry. Know one showed up to fix it. There were water bottles and trash behind night stand in bedroom. Stains on box springs , didn’t even want to look on mattresses. No pot holders or dish rags to wash dishes. Came in one day for lunch and maintenance had left a note saying don’t turn on air it’s been worked on. They turned the air off some time before noon. We waited till 8 pm and called to see if we could turn air on. She was supposed to call us right back with an answer. 14 hrs later we still hadn’t heard back. One of the stove top burners didn’t work. That was in a review from 2 yrs ago.
