The Space:

This lovely Gulf-front condominium has a light casual Floridian feel and a wonderful view of courtyard by the pool with the Gulf of Mexico just beyond. The patio offers the perfect place to relax and take in the views or monitor the kids at the pool. Both the main bedroom and the living area have a French door out to the patio. This unit has a full size kitchen, with every appliance and amenity one would have in their own home. The living area offers a dining table for six, a comfortable sofa, a loveseat, and upscale tile. You will have all the comforts of home with two TVs, Two DVD players, and a CD stereo system. Make your next fabulous beach getaway at Huntington by the Sea, #103.

Huntington By The Sea is a great place to take your family and enjoy the beach. Great location!

Great location and access to everything you need. Also less crowded than in Destin. Highly recommend this area and Huntington By The Sea condominiums!

Direct beach access

Loved the direct beach access and that beach is STUNNING. The 2 beach chairs were great!! Perfect location and restaurants near were perfect! Very spacious. The unit is really outdated and needs some help. I’d stay again for the beach and location but it could have been more clean and updated. We needed a washer and dryer in the unit. AC worked great.

Perfect for Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this condo! It was a perfect location for our family as it was right by the pool and beach access. The beach chairs and umbrella were set-up daily so we literally just had to take ourselves down to the beach. Since it’s private, there wasn’t a huge crowd to fight or even a thought about what you were going to do each morning. The property itself is a little dated in things such as the bathrooms and kitchen items (skillet was warped, table mats were old, etc) but nothing major that would keep us from coming back! We highly recommend.

42 step to Ocean!

Loved the short distance to the ocean. The condo was not very updated and as someone said before not enough coffee cups, electrical switch broken, faucets loose and only comfy place to sit was on the couch, everything else was super uncomfortable. Tv reception not too great, glad we spent most of our time outside. Location was perfect. Overall with a little TLC this place would be perfect.

Roach Motel

We had issues with roaches the entire time we were at the property. Someone came over and put out some bait, but we continued having an issue our entire stay. My wife is scared of roaches, so every morning she was mortified to find roaches on the kitchen counter to greet her. NOT GOOD!

Beautiful quiet beach

I read all reviews and use VRBO for most of my vacations and stay in Florida two to three times a year. With that being said let’s start with the positive about this condo. Ground floor room is great and super close to beach and pool. The beach was great and quiet. Only one line of chairs with the small complex. The room was pretty clean upon check-in. The pool was small but very clean. Had a little issue with not having a parking pass but I received some the next day but wasn’t notified when they arrived so when I opened the door, they just were sitting there. It is an older condo for sure but they have done some updates it. The living room has no overhead lights but only lamps to turn on. It was a fight for the sofa at night. The chairs are very uncomfortable. The monopoly game was new to our kids and kept them entertained. It was missing dice so we bought some for it and left it with the game. The Master bedroom did not have a ceiling fan or a light just the lamps. I found the AC in the Master to be warmer then the rest of the condo too but we managed. The guest bedroom did not have a Tv in it which is odd but a ceiling fan with light. The tub in Master bath still does not drain well. I read that on a previous review. One of the cabinets in kitchen was hanging on by a thread and my husband fixed it. There is still not the best liner in the Master bathroom also and it blows in while the light and fan are on while taking a shower. The guest bathroom door does not lock. The outlets were soft or loose fitting, I guess with the condo being older. In closing we would probably stay in another room that had a little more renovations done or the work completed that were previously written about. You get what you paid for and we feel like we got a good deal for Labor Day weekend because we normally stay on 30A for three times the amount. This room could be great with a little bit of work !!
