The Space:

Waterscape condos are located on beautiful Okaloosa Island, which is famous for its emerald green waters and white sandy beaches. Waterscape was constructed as a U-shaped property to house the 'heartbeat' of the facility; the tropical oasis and pools. Waterscape has a two tiered pool deck separated by a 10-foot waterfall. The lower pool deck includes a large zero entry pool with spray toys and lily pads for the young at heart. The resort's lower pool deck features a long lazy river for you to float down on resort inner tubes. The upper deck houses a seasonally heated pool. There is a children's splash area on the upper pool deck that features toys for toddlers and a covered play area for maximum sun protection. There are two hot tubs located in the tropical oasis for your relaxation. This wonderful vacation destination is conveniently located to wonderful local restaurants, attractions, and shopping areas in Fort Walton Beach and Destin.



Things to Know

Beach service is included from March to October.





All registered guests staying at Waterscape will be required to wear the

RFID wristbands provided. These wristbands are mandatory

for access to all Waterscape amenities.

Please note:

● Wristbands must be worn at all times when using the amenities.

● Guests without wristbands will not be permitted access.

● Wristbands are provided only for the number of registered guests

and cannot exceed the unit’s maximum occupancy, all occupants

count toward max occupancy regardless of age

● Guests must provide the exact number of occupants in order to

receive the correct amount of wristbands for their stay

● A $50 non-refundable fee per wristband will be charged if any are

lost or not returned at checkout.

● Children 5 and under are not required to wear the wristbands

● Wristbands are not required for beach access

Great family spot

Great spot for a family. One thing we wished for was more toilet paper/dishwasher soap/garbage bags. Would be super cheap and save a trip to the store.

It was very clean and nice the only things was someone popped in to clean up at 9am when check out was at 10. Felt rushed to get out but other than that it was very nice.

Newly remodeled, spacious layout

Beautiful third floor condo. Looks like it was just remodeled last week. New floors, countertops, furniture, paint, etc. — very nicely done. View looks out to the neighboring hotels but is easy to get to the on site water park and beach. This is our first time in this unit but our second time at this resort. Our family loves how convenient and beautiful it is.

The condo was wonderful, very clean, up to date, and spacious. Because of new hotel constructions next door, there is really no gulf view from the balcony.

Perfect kiddo spot

This resort is the best place for kiddos, hands down. But fair warned, checkin is super late at 4pm, which was miserable with two small children who desperately need their naps each day. But once we were in, the experience was great. I would recommend the hosts put a simple broom in the unit. The sand adds up after a few days, no matter how diligent you are about wiping feet. The unit is beautifully decorated and we had another amazing vacation as a family here.

The condo is nice, but did not feel very clean. The property and the pools are fun, it was just really crowded when we were there. I thought I wouldn’t mind not having a view of the ocean but I really did miss it.

Perfect Spring Break Trip!

Clean, nicely decorated property! End unit right by parking garage which was nice and convenient. Less than 5 minutes to walk through property and get to pool / beach. Having the beach chairs/umbrellas included was a nice perk! We did purchase and leave behind beach toys for future guests. Didn’t want to take home so hopefully they can be used by others :) We’ve stayed in FWB many times but never at Waterscape and this unit was perfect. We hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Once your there you get what you get.

You can call but they won’t help you with things like the doors not locking or stained towels.

Awesome!!!

We loved everything about it. Was surprised to know it was a 3 BDR 2 1/2 bath! Furniture was beautiful! Only negatives are: bedding needs to be replaced. Sheets are horrible and would not stay on. Had issues with TV remotes. Tried to watch DVD in living room but couldn’t get remotes to work. DVD remote didn’t have any batteries and a piece of tape over where the batteries go. Asked for help and new batteries. Was told to go buy some batteries and they would reimburse. Too much trouble so did not do that. Also make sure you bring your own beach towels there are not any. Mattresses could use replacement.

Pretty but nasty and rude staff

We got checked in at 4pm room was not clean, there were cockroaches in the bathrooms still Alive we were really freaked out and contacted management. Had to speak to multiple people before the issue was resolved. Issue wasn’t resolved til 7:30pm! They continued to tell me someone named Frank would be contacting me to resolve the issue which we never received a call back from. We were told by management to change our own sheets if there were extra in the room because they were dirty when we arrived. Staff was very rude to me and my children. We were overall highly disappointed with our stay here. We are use to staying at very nice high end places which is why we pay to much to stay where we do. By far the worst vacation experience we’ve had. Staff charged us extra for plastic forks every time we ordered food (required to be eaten with forks) at the pool tiki bar. We are very easy going people but the things that happened during our stay here were just not what we expected and should have been handled differently. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Especially if you have kids because the staff could care less about you and the cleanliness of your stay. We barely slept with one eye open due to the circumstances here. Was not enjoyable at all. Good luck to the next people who stay here.
