The Space:

Get a taste of the coastal lifestyle in no time here in Gulf Shores when you perch yourself on the sugar-white sand of Plantation Dunes! There will be no dull days on this vacation with direct beach access, sports courts, and uninterrupted views of emerald blue water from the private balcony! You will have access to an indoor pool, sauna, and six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds.



Any downtime spent at home base will also be a treat, as everyone can reminisce at the dining table as the chef of the group whips up tasty meals in the full kitchen complete with all of the major appliances and utensils needed for any recipe. The living room will be just the place to kick back with a movie playing on the TV. Plus, the kiddos will love hitting the hay in the hallway bunks as the stars come out!

The host reached out personally which was nice. The condo is small but very comfortable and well equipped. The little private balcony looking at the ocean was heaven. Amenities at the complex are nice.

Wonderful experience

We had a great experience with this listing! A little sand on the floor still but that's okay. And there was no blankets on the bunks, just a sheet. Beautiful views! Cute little starter kit for laundry and dishes. The door was hard to open and shut but not a big deal. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The room unexpectedly had a balcony overlooking the beach which was very lovely. Very comfortable bed and condo was perfect. If anything was a minus, dining out options are limited within 25 minutes of the resort. I recommend planning on at least breakfast in the condo

It was not what we hoped for.

The photos talk this place up relatively well. This space was old and not as clean as I would have liked. It was also lacking in the cozy atmosphere and made me feel like I was walking the halls of an institution with all the echoes and wind blowing through the place. The lights were not working properly in the kitchen area and kept flickering. The sink and tub in the bathroom area would not drain while using them.

Cute little condo

My son and i had a weekend getaway just enough space for the 2 of us, the room is very cute. It sits right above the sassy bass, so the aroma from their food was inviting, great view.. its a corner room so it had a really pretty view of the ocean on the 4th floor. My only 2 complaints are: there was no check-out procedure cleaning list , like other condos so luckily i just followed what normally you do in other condos, and the tub will not drain water out , i had to hold drain stop up in order for water to empty. Overall it was a nice stay.

Not very clean, no bar and no ladder on top bunk for kids, keurig and stove broken, and hot tubs not working correctly in indoor pool.

Description was misleading

When I booked this property, nowhere in the description did it state that the washer/dryer was “shared”..as in, a laundry mat on the ground floor. I wouldn’t have booked this property had I known that. The shower head/water pressure was much less than desirable as it would not even get the sand off of you. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I will never book this unit again.

Cheery room with great view

It’s small but clean, cheery and updated. All you need for 2 people. Great view of ocean. Building has had some updates as well. Pools were clean and easily accessible and check in was easy as key code was sent directly to email. I will say the parking situation is poor but that is not the fault of the condo owner but the HOA over the building. Bit of a fiasco. I was not sent any instructions before my stay and when I got to gate I was instructed to go park, visit a website and pay online. Then had to walk back to the gate showing my purchase code to get a tag for my car. Silly and over complicated and way too expensive. I paid $35 for parking. No prices were mentioned before my stay. This is minor considering everything else was pleasant and we had a good stay.

Cute but SMALL

Not giving a bad review, just giving my opinion on the condo. It's in Ft Morgan so be prepared to drive to go out to places. The condo itself is SMALL. There's one room that has the bed, couch, 2 SMALL bunk beds (not sure how anyone would be able to get to the top one), kitchen and table, and bathroom sink with mirror. The SMALL bathroom has a toilet and shower/tub only. I would recommend putting a barn door up to separate the kitchen area from the bedroom area. The decor is cute but the building is an older one. They were doing repairs on the building while we were there though. The condo worked for us because it is a good enough size for a couple that doesn't prefer to stay indoors the whole time. We enjoy going on the beach all day (it's a little bit of a walk out there compared to others) and going out at night. It's also a bit of a walk from the entrance elevator to the condo which is on 4th floor. The balcony is SMALL as well but has a good view. The building has vending downstairs and ice for sale ($3 per SMALL bag of ice). There were plenty of carts downstairs to use upon arrival and departure. Check in and out was very simple.
