The views seem to go on forever at The Colonnades 1501, where you'll enjoy a beachfront vacation experience that's second to none. Beautifully located just east of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, this property enjoys an ideal position with easy access to top area restaurants, shops, and attractions. Take in magnificent views of the Gulf of Mexico from floor-to-ceiling windows and a large, private balcony, and enjoy on-site access to a community pool, a sundeck, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a sauna.



What's nearby:

The Colonnades enjoys one of the most enviable locations in Gulf Shores, right on the white sand beach and less than a mile from the heart of town. You'll be just under a mile east of The Hangout and Sea-N-Suds, and only a few miles further from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf on Highway 59. If you're looking to escape into nature for the morning, you'll be immediately west of Gulf State Park, where you can go for long runs, launch your kayak, or fish from the pier. The Craft Farms Golf Club is less than six miles north as well.

This place was perfect! The only reason not 5 stars is the dishwasher top rack is broken and makes it difficult to close the dishwasher and the dryer does not dry the clothes. Probably just needs some maintenance. Would stay again!

Very spacious accommodations for 9

The condo was perfect for our family's vacation. 3 families met and had plenty of room to spread out. The condo had eveything we needed including a couple of chairs to take down to the beach. The views from every window and patio were amazing! Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful 4-bedroom condo. Clean, contemporary, beautifully decorated, great floor plan. If you want a gulf front condo, you will be hard pressed to find one this nice at this price

We thoroughly enjoyed The Colonnades 1501 during a multi generational family vacation. Great location, beautiful condo. We did have some cleaning hiccups, but nothing that would keep us from staying here again. Thank you for sharing the condo with us!

This was a very nice condo with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Spacious balcony. No damage from Hurricane Sally. It was frustrating that there was only one working elevator and the hot tub isn’t working.. we would stay here again.

Condo was clean and at a great location. Had some issues with the Internet when we arrived but they came out quickly to replace. Never did have a consistent satellite feed for the tv would be the one thing we complained about. The beach is great and not overcrowded. Would definitely rent again.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The check in process was confusing, but was easily resolved with our contact with Vacasa. They informed us that the microwave was not working, but there was a replacement one and they also informed us when someone would arrive to install the new one… this DID NOT disrupt our stay. If we had any issues they were addressed promptly. The room that has the 2 twin beds , maybe two full size beds, or a full size bunk bed in order to have more comfortable sleeping arrangements. The shower in the master bathroom had only one working shower head and the water pressure was not good in that room. A Keurig coffeemaker would be nice addition kitchen appliance. Dryer needed fixed or replaced. We would give it a 4 rating overall. It was good and comfortable. Thank you for making our trip to Gulf Shores memorable 🏖🏖👍🏻👍🏻🏖🏖

Needs some help

The condo was dirty. I still cannot believe the mold that was on the toilets, bathroom sinks and shower. It needs to be cleaned! The condo is dusty overall and if something happened to go under a piece of furniture - it was so bad. And this was furniture that could of been swept under. The refrigerator had a shelf with a large area of stuck gunk. Light was so dim over a bathroom vanity you couldn't even see. Drain in bathroom sink completely clogged. Beds could use an update and the towels/sheets. The towels are worse than anything I have had in a hotel. The towels at the Hampton Inn I stayed in the night before were better. The kitchen did not have oven mitts, a colander, only 4 regular spoons with the rest being serving spoons, not even just a regular larger spoon. We loved the beach itself and the location of the building. It just starts off bad when a place is dirty when you walk in. Vacasa did fix some issues, but it was disappointing. It's no fun when your family is unhappy with a place, and the first impression was not great unfortunately.
