We loved our stay here! The location is so beautiful with unobstructed views of the bay. And there is plenty of sand to actually play on the bayside too! But if you want the big beach feeling, the west end beach is easy walking distance. Everyone on the island is super kind and we had great food at Captain Snappers. It was a perfect fall family getaway. Highly recommend staying here.

Family friendly atmosphere. We love the sound side of the island and love to explore the west end beach too. The sunrise sets your day and the sunset melts into the sound, just beautiful!

Wonderful winter getaway

Great getaway! Beautiful location, steps away from the end of the island with wide open beach and great shell collecting. The house was great, very clean, well stocked. Hope to be back soon!

Great getaway with the grandkids

Property is clean, layer out well and beautifully situated with views of the bay and the gulf. Pier in the bay is a great place to relax with some fishing, wildlife watching and relaxing while the sun goes down.

Perfect family vacation

We stayed at this beautiful house with our 5 kids and loved everything about it. My favorite was having sunset meals on the back porch with the amazing view of the bay. The kids enjoyed walking across the street to west end beach and playing in the waves.

We loved this beach house! Clean and well appointed. The screened in porch was our favorite thing about this place! Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short due to the tropical storm.

This property was exceptional. I hadn't been to the beach since i was a kid but wanted to celebrate a birthday on the ocean. This property did not disappoint. The house itself was clean and spacious, perfect for the 7 guests in our party. We utilized the kitchen to cook every night during our stay. The rooms were clean with no sand. The porch was awesome, especially for playing board games in the evening or reading with a view. The dock was amazing, it was a great way to relax and unwind. It was also a short walk to west end beach. We started every morning with a long walk on the beach (now I get the hype) on the bay side, spent the days on the gulf side watching the waves and playing in the water, and would end our days unwinding on the dock. I'm not sure I've ever stayed in such a perfect place. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway!

Excellent Space For R&R

This home is a lovely space for R & R on Dauphin Island. It is located at the very end of West Beach bayside which provides beautiful views from both sides of the home. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, the furnishings are comfortable and the screened porch is delightful!!!! Great property.

Very nice

This property is very clean and nicely furnished. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the water on both the sound and the gulf which are only steps from the house. We also enjoyed the screened in porch.

Beautiful relaxation

This house was beyond wonderful! Beautiful and relaxing. Views are fabulous! We did not want to leave. We could have stayed there forever! We would love to come back soon as we can. Absolutely loved everything! Sunrises and sunsets can be seen there everyday.

Amazing

It was excellent and exactly what our family needed! Perfect distance from the beach. Loved the sounds of the waves across the road. Clean and very wel decorated. All kitchen supplies are there. No seasonings in cabinet except salt and pepper.

Great place

Wonderful clean property with excellent views. Only complaint is with Vacasa about early check-in. They said we would get a text when it was clean/ready. We drove by ourselves and noticed cleaner had left and got in early; text never came.

Loved the quietness

My friend and I stayed here the week of Labor Day. Watching the shore birds was fun and gathering seashells during our walks on the beach. But getting to the private beach was an exercise in survival, as the mosquitoes just about packed us off! A boardwalk would have been nice, but maybe you can't put one all the way to the beach. All in all, we had a great stay and got the rest we needed. Supper at the Pirates Bar and Grill was very good. We found the goat tree and Indian mounds. The views were absolutely gorgeous. I will visit again.
