The Space:

This lovely seaside home has large covered porch facing the Gulf, an open floor plan, and a split-level deck perfect for reading, sunning, watching the waves and dolphins! It's perfect for a pair of couples or two families to share, with the beach just steps away.



The living room with vaulted ceilings is open to the kitchen and dining area, has two sofas and an easy chair, flatscreen TV/DVD player, and french doors leading to the covered porch facing the water. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home, with a center island great for food prep.

We had a great stay here! First time on Daulphin Island and the house was cute and the perfect walk to the beach! Our pups had such a great weekend, so will definitely be back! Only note would be that the sheets need to be updated, they were pretty worn which was not the best, other than that the house was perfect for the weekend!

This is a beautiful beach cottage. Excellent location with a short walk to the beautiful beach. Quiet and peaceful as well. Very clean and has everything you need except for salt and pepper! If you plan on cooking, bring your spices! Our first trip to Dauphin Island and we really enjoyed our stay at Just Chillin’ My husband really took advantage of the hot tub, it was great!

Super clean, well equipped with everything you need for cooking including a gas grill and smoker. View from deck is nice and the deck has a gate to keep Your furry friend contained. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed a relaxing long weekend.

Great Beach Home

The house is one of the best we’ve at. Everything was well thought out to make your stay honey and comfortable - from plenty of towels and dishes to books, magazines, beach toys, wagon, and grill. The house was clean and we even received a notice that we could check in early. Would definitely recommend and stay in again. Thank you!

idyllic place to stay

Initial impressions were excellent. Super clean house but also very nicely styled and renovated. Modern clean and neat and the perfect beaches sitting Short walk to the beach, it's not hard at all. It's merely at the end of the cul-de-sacIt's. Also the house has a few beach items to bring including a wagon which was super helpful in transporting all of our stuff to the beach. We would definitely stay again. Full marks, five stars all around

Great place to stay!

This property was very nice, clean, and in a quiet location. Little longer of a walk then I thought.. Has plenty of towels and beach gear but would recommend bringing your own chairs and umbrella. Also bring laundry and dish detergent.. not given enough. Only complaints would be the beds. One king was fine the other was VERY HARD! Same deal with the twins.. one was great other was hard as a rock.

Perfect for Our Stay!

"Just Chillin" is a delightful house! We loved watching storms roll in from Mobile Bay on the north deck. The covered south deck almost always had a refreshing breeze, even on the warmest days. The location was perfectly set close to town, the West Beach, and access to the Mobile area. We were less than a minute's walk to the Gulf shore as well as the Bay side. The water from the tap was just fine for drinking, so no additional bottles were needed; however, we do recommend buying groceries in Mobile. We and our dog miss our time here already and can't wait to return one day.

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I stayed with our dog for 3 nights. This was our first trip to Dauphin Island and we loved how laid back and quiet it was (disclaimer- we visited in the middle of the week in mid-September but I doubt it's very rowdy even during peak vacation season). The house was cute and just a quick walk from the beach. Had everything we needed including a gas grill (igniter wasn't working but got it fired up fine with a lighter- property manager came to check it out the next day), stocked kitchen (just salt and pepper though, no oil or Pam or other spices so bring that if you need it), and lots of beach toys/wagon which we didn't use but nice to have available. There's a small grocery store and some shops on the island but would recommend getting your groceries/supplies in Mobile beforehand. We live in Birmingham so this was an easy getaway for us and we would definitely visit again.

Great place to stay Thanksgiving week!

Very nice place to stay for the price. We needed a place for 6 adults and 2 dogs within close proximity to the beach. The house was clean and decorated nicely. No complaints about the beds. I did notice some small trash on the property but it wasn't bad. Loved the hammock and gas grill below the house. Only complaints that there was no laundry detergent available even though part of the check out process was to start the washer for towels and such. Also could have used more trash bags, toilet paper and dish soap. We had to make a trip to the island grocery to purchase the additional items at over inflated prices. Overall though it was a great place to stay for our needs and budget. We won't hesitate to stay again despite the shortcomings, especially if we're bringing the dogs.

Wonderful home and location

House was in a great location and was very clean. Everything we needed was there. I would bring beach chairs tho. The island was beautiful and Skinners staff was so friendly and had amazing fresh seafood to buy to cook back at the house. Definitely buy groceries prior to coming on the island. The local grocery store has basics but are costly. Not many of the local establishments were too friendly. Most wouldn’t hardly even speak to us. Outside of that, we enjoyed the Fort, Estuarium, we rode the ferry to Gulf Shores and saw the other Fort and ate lunch. Again, wait staff was not overly friendly. I truly enjoyed the beach and the house but I will not come back to this area due to the feeling of not being welcome.

Very clean and maintained property

Property was very clean and prepared for my family's arrival. Issue with the coffee maker was handled in hours by the management company. Outstanding response. The only critique I have and it's my fault for not checking closer was that I thought it was closer to the beach. Its a block away. Not big deal but we wanted to be closer. Everything else was outstanding.

Great family and pet friendly rental within walking distance to the beach

The house is in great shape and the furnishings are very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances. And it is pet friendly!
