En el hermoso lago School Section, la vista mira directamente a la isla con grandes pinos del norte y cientos de acres de propiedad del condado que dejan la vista espectacular. Nuestra propiedad tiene varios árboles maduros para encontrar la sombra y mucho espacio abierto para disfrutar del sol. It was a beautiful stay! We enjoyed multiple boat rides with the pontoon rental and did lots of fishing. The view was lovely and the house was very stocked.

The family and I had a wonderful time. The house was plenty big enough, and the stay was very comfortable. We would surely come back.

Great place for family fun on the water. I have family in this area and plan on coming back here. Clean, comfortable, spacoius and not overly pretentious. Late night loon calls a bonus. We don't have those back at home.

Family vacation

Great beach and lake. They have so many floats and sand toys for kids to play with. We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Perfect space for 5 adults and 5 kids (3 of them were 3 and under). Would love to rent again!

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed staying here and it’s our third time! The place was immaculate upon our arrival and Bryan is a great host. It’s a very relaxing and beautiful setting to kick back and enjoy time with your family. Highly recommend!

Spacious, clean and comfortable

Pontoon was ready to go, timely email for check in, clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for two couples. Didn’t take long to make ourselves at home!

Beautiful Lake

A great home for a family to make summer memories and enjoy lake living. The owner was still preparing for summer after outside improvements. The deck needed power washed yet but still a great location.

Great stay for golf trip

House is a little outdated but it was perfect for our guys golf weekend. Great location near Tullymoore and St. Ives. Caught some fish off the dock. Really enjoyed it. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Thanks

Great family vacation

We had the best time! The kids loved the kayaks, dock outside of the house, fishing, swimming. The fun didn’t stop, even in the rain. The owner was great, we had a question & we got an immediate reply with a resolution. I would highly recommend this property for family vacations on the lake!

Labor Day Weekend Fun

The property had everything we needed plus some. Could use some maintenance and a deep clean but that didn’t hinder us from totally enjoying our weekend or the property. The owner was super friendly and quick to respond to our questions and problems. Perfect place to take your boat to enjoy lake time, campfires in the evening, and peaceful mornings on the deck overlooking the lake.

Wonderful memories made

The cottage was clean, spacious with modern appliances. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. However the deck and beach is where we spent all our time. My 2 grandsons, 5&6, spent all their time in the water. Clean swim area and beach. My family enjoyed fishing off the dock and in the pontoon, available for an extra fee. Owner provided many outdoor seating choices. We had such a great time everyone wants a return visit next year with mire days.

fall fishing

was a nice couple days for fishing ,plenty of fish to catch.we are up in our 70, and the house was nice an clean .the owner wanted us to fill gas tank in pontoon but our guys couldn't get in the water an turn the boat around to put gas in it so we left money for gas .all in all it was a Wonderful time Thank you Bryan...

Many memories made

We stayed with extended family for a week in July and we had a spectacular time! The kids loved the swimming platform and the private sandy beach. The views were breathtaking and the water was gorgeous! The island was the perfect place to kayak around and the paddle boat was a huge hit. The large and well-stocked kitchen made feeding our large crew simple and fun. The large dining table made it easy to enjoy meals and play games. We were able to rent and use the pontoon boat for a couple of days and had a great time trolling around and enjoying the lake. We had a few random questions and the owner was quick to respond and so helpful. We made some incredible memories and would love to stay again!

Our Family is from Lansing and Grand Rapids, MI. We love Michigan. Summer time at the lake has given us our best memories. We are so excited to have our kids and Grandkids spend time with us to provide them with the special memories they will have.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We have also been renters for many years. In 2003 we rented on School Section Lake and it became one of our favorite lake's in Michigan. When we realized this year we could finally get our lakefront property this is the ONLY lake we looked at. We love it that much. We finally made the decision to purchase this property because we were struck with the incredible view. We are directly across from this gorgeous colorful island with nothing but mature trees. And beyond that you see the hundreds of acres of county land that is free of cabins and left as nature intended it to be. We also realized quickly this is a home. It is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. You only need to bring your clothes, food and drink and plan on having everything else already here. The lake is special. It is well maintained by the Association for weed control, the clearest water around and this incredible 'up north feel'. It has character with the island, peninsulas and amazing mature pines. There is a county park on the lake that has an amazing swimming area and walking trails. However this is still a semi-private lake. The lake only allows boats with motors less than 10hp. We as property owners can have as we please. And this courtesy is extended to you if you choose to bring a boat or Jet Ski.

We don't want your experience to stop at the end of the dock. We have kayak's, paddle boat and swim platform. You can also bring your own boat or rent a pontoon if desired. The semi-private lake keeps boat traffic down. The morning, late evening no-wake's and all sports during the day it the perfect balance of peaceful cruising, fishing and the fun of an all-sports lake when you just want to get out and enjoy the water and the sun.
