We’re Joelle and Peter—hosts who genuinely love creating beautiful, welcoming spaces for others to enjoy. Hosting is something we’re deeply passionate about, and we approach it with the same care and attention to detail that we value when we travel ourselves.
Outside of hosting, we love being active and connected to nature. You’ll often find us hiking, kayaking, or out for long walks with our two Wheaten Terriers. We also enjoy quieter moments—reading, watching movies, and spending time with our family, especially our two grandchildren, who bring so much joy to our lives.
Professionally, we’re both in real estate, which naturally extends into our love for thoughtfully designed homes and meaningful spaces. Every property we host is personally curated—from the furnishings and artwork to the overall feel—so that it offers more than just a place to stay. Our goal is to create an experience that feels comfortable, inspiring, and a little bit special.
We’re hands-on owners who care deeply about our guests’ experience. While we respect your privacy and aim to make your stay seamless and easy, we’re always nearby and happy to help if needed.

We chose this location because it truly captures everything we love about Kennett Square. We’ve lived in the Kennett Square area for over 25 years, and for the past 10 years have called downtown home—so this neighborhood holds a special place in our lives.
There’s something about Kennett Square that’s hard to fully describe until you experience it. The town is vibrant and full of life, with wonderful restaurants, charming shops, and a true sense of community. At the same time, it’s surrounded by beautiful scenery—rolling landscapes, gardens, and peaceful natural spaces that create a calm, welcoming atmosphere.
What we love most is the balance. You’re just steps from the energy of town, yet the setting still feels quiet, tucked away, and connected to nature. The people are friendly, the pace is relaxed, and there’s an authenticity here that makes it easy to feel at home.
It’s a place we’ve chosen to stay for decades—and one we’re always excited to share with our guests.
