The property was great. Very cozy. Awesome value for the price. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice for a quiet getaway, and great if you want to explore Round Top. Just note that there is no wifi, so if you're like me and you can't unplug from work for a whole weekend, bring a backup plan!

Great weekend getaway!

This property and cabin made for the perfect quick weekend getaway. The property is beautiful and the cabin is petect, it has everything you need. We brought our dogs and they loved it too. Great place!

As a returning guest, we find this cabin having the perfect ingredients to escape city life. You are on a large and private tract of land, in your comfortable and well-equipped cabin with an expansive porch area, and all within an easy drive from Houston yet at a reasonable cost. To top it off, Tracy is wonderful to work with as our responsive host! What’s not to love? We’ll come again.

We stayed at this cabin for two months while building our home in the area, and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was exceptionally clean and very well stocked, which made the long stay so comfortable. The owner was wonderful to work with—quick to respond and very helpful any time a question or small issue came up. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, yet still close enough to nearby towns for groceries, dining, and anything else you might need. We couldn’t have asked for a better temporary home and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet retreat or extended stay.

The perfect secluded getaway

Perfect getaway house on a great property. Everything went smoothly and the property manager was responsive. We hope to stay here again. Close enough to all things Round Top. 10/10!

A Great getaway

For our party of 3 this was a perfect, secluded and relaxing cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very well maintained. We enjoyed relaxing on the covered porches with a glass of wine. Wish we could have stayed longer.

relaxed in Round Top

great place to get away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Close to all the great little shopping holes in Round Top, La Grange, Burton, Carmine and Giddings. Enjoyed the big front porch with glider and comfy sofa.

Beautiful get away

Tracy’s home is the perfect place for a get away. Close enough to town for junk shopping but far enough aways to get away from it all. The record player and album collection was a bonus and time in the front porch bird watching in the best! Her house has everything you need/want. I can’t wait to go back!

So enjoyed our stay!! Very private, beautiful surroundings. The cabin had everything you need. Bed was super comfy!!! Only one washcloth but that was ok we just went to the Dollar General and bought some. We can't wait to come back!!

The pictures do not do it justice!

This property is more than what the pictures show. The location is isolated and very quiet. The house itself is perfectly decorated and very well appointed. Comfortable, cozy, relaxing.....a cup of coffee on the porch with the deer grazing around you kind of stay.

It’s a wonderful clean peaceful place to come and relax!

Few days away

We had a great stay at the cabin. We couldn’t turn on the porch lights without an extension cord. I would have brought one had I known. House was well equipped and we had a great time.

Great spot for R&R

We booked this little cabin in hopes of finding some peace, quiet, and rest away from the noise and congestion of Houston. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed for the weekend, but also enjoyed being a short drive to the grocery store and amenities in La Grange one direction and the wonderful shopping in Round Top the other direction. It also was great to be able to bring the dogs along for the trip. I would book this property again without hesitation.

Lovely Stay

We had a relaxing stay in the very clean and well stocked cottage. Our dogs loved running around in the big meadow. I loved that there is a very small attached yard or pen for their nightly ‘ last call to potty ‘ before lights out . So I didn’t have to follow them out to large field before bedtime !
