The Arber apartment, rated four stars by the German Tourism Association, offers 75 square meters of comfortable space for up to 5 guests to relax and unwind. A large living/dining kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, Tassimo, coffee maker, microwave, oven, and refrigerator with freezer is, of course, fully equipped so that you can't only stay here but also treat yourself to culinary delights. Two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds that can be converted into a large sleeping area for children) and a beautiful living room with a cozy sofa that can easily be used as a single bed offer our guests space for themselves and space for shared activities.<br><br>The completely renovated new bathroom features a large shower as well as amenities such as an extra makeup mirror and, of course, soft hand and bath towels.<br><br>A spacious hallway with a large coat closet rounds out our second-largest apartment, Arber.<br>We’re delighted that you’re interested in our inn and our apartments. <br>The picturesque village of Zwieselerwaldhaus lies at the foot of the Falkenstein. One of the most beautiful houses here is the Alte Zollhaus, built in 1926 from natural stone, brick, and wood. It is situated at the edge of this tranquil village in a completely secluded location, right next to the Hochwald forest, in the heart of the Bavarian Forest National Park.<br>A total of 4 very cozy vacation apartments are available to our guests, which we, the Bickel family, deliberately run in a family-friendly manner (the Arber and Pepe apartments are rated **** by the German Tourism Association). <br><br>By the way: The entire house can also be rented by groups (prices upon request) and accommodates up to 18 guests.<br>Equipped with every comfort, our Arber, Pepe, Falkenstein, and Silberberg apartments feature high-end amenities and, above all, plenty of space to unwind and relax. The on-site sauna invites you to unwind after skiing (cross-country trails start right outside the front door; downhill skiing at Großer Arber is 10 km away) or after hiking. For cyclists, there are plenty of covered and secure parking spaces available for mountain bikes. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. A large garden with space for playing and barbecuing is, of course, available to our guests. Some apartments feature covered outdoor seating areas. Deck chairs with cushions are, of course, also provided. Our small fragrant garden, filled with native herbs and magnificent roses, invites you to daydream and linger. Fruit trees and berry bushes are scattered throughout the garden, and our guests are, of course, welcome to snack on the fruit.<br>And to stay connected to the world, free Wi-Fi is available. Modern flat-screen TVs with satellite reception, a radio, and a DVD player round out the amenities in the spacious apartments. We’ve put together a small library and an extensive collection of games that are available to everyone. Since December, our house has been powered by climate-neutral energy. A modern pellet heating system with solar support and green electricity make this possible.
