It’s the perfect base for your beach vacation, water sports, or long walks through the Geltinger Birk Nature Reserve.<br><br>The “Wackerama” vacation home is a beautiful, high-end, light-filled vacation home for up to 6 people, built in the Danish style on two stories and set on a spacious garden lot. In addition to guests, your dog or other pets are, of course, also welcome. The house is located right on the waterfront in Wackerballig and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea.... now you can see how the house got its name, WACKERAMA.<br>It’s an incredible 20 meters to the well-maintained sandy beach and the famous surfing and kitesurfing spot; you can easily set up your gear right in your own garden. With its very extensive shallow shoreline, the beach offers safe swimming fun even for younger children. Additional kilometers of fine-sand natural beaches—which remain only moderately crowded even in summer—are within easy biking distance on the other side of the Birk River.<br>The modern furnishings and the light, wood-paneled walls and sloped ceilings give the house a cozy and friendly atmosphere. On the spacious wooden deck or the covered loggia on the upper floor, you can enjoy summer evenings even longer. From here, you’ll have a beautiful view of Geltinger Bay and breathtaking sunsets. On cooler evenings, you can make yourself comfortable in the living room in front of the fireplace with a good book or in front of the flat-screen TV with an exciting DVD movie. Of course, our house also has free Wi-Fi.<br>From the living room, dining table, kitchen, and bedroom, floor-to-ceiling windows offer a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea. The open kitchen, featuring a granite cooking island, is equipped with everything you need.<br>After a day in the fresh air, treat yourself to an underwater massage in the hot tub or a relaxing sauna session. From the living room, you have access to the terrace overlooking the beach. Here, you can enjoy the view while sunbathing or spend a cozy evening barbecuing with friends and family. The bedrooms offer excellent sleeping comfort with three spacious, 1.80-meter-wide box-spring double beds. The two large bedrooms under the roof each feature a single bed in two separate and cozy sleeping alcoves, making them ideal for parents with younger children.<br><br>In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the magnificent, unspoiled Geltinger Birk nature and bird sanctuary, home to a diverse array of flora and fauna. Explore this paradise for waterfowl, wild horses, and Highland cattle along various walking trails. Guided nature tours, NABU birdwatching tours, lectures, and wild horse tours are also offered here regularly.<br>The nearly limitless water sports opportunities are also just a stone’s throw away: For those who prefer a more active vacation, the “on-site” surf school—just 300 meters away—offers courses in windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, and stand-up paddleboarding, as well as equipment rentals.<br>Geltinger Bay also offers a beautiful sailing area for all sailing enthusiasts! The marina is just a 3-minute walk away. Use the marina, with its guest berths, as a starting point for unforgettable sailing trips. <br>Of interest to anglers: the area, with its numerous shoals, is known for its abundance of cod, flatfish, and sea trout.
