Of course, both the dining table and the patio table are large enough for everyone to sit together in a convivial atmosphere.
Enjoy the view over Pottenstein and its landmark, the castle.
When the weather is nice, linger in the small garden while you grill a delicious steak from the local butcher on our charcoal grill and sip a regional beer or the famous Franconian wine in a Bocksbeutel.
It’s no wonder we’re called the “Region of Delights”—Franconia.

LOCATION:
But Pottenstein has more to offer than just culinary delights.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find plenty of excursion options, such as the toboggan run, climbing garden, the Juramar indoor pool and Schöngrundsee, Teufelshöhle, Sägergolf, and much, much more.
Climbing is as much a part of Franconian Switzerland as “Ade” is to the Franconians. Steep slopes of varying difficulty levels await both experienced climbers and beginners in the Frankenjura, Germany’s most famous climbing area. Let’s hit the wall!
If you prefer a more laid-back atmosphere, many Franconian taverns and beer gardens invite you to enjoy a hearty snack and homemade food.
And last but not least, we’d like to recommend our breathtaking natural scenery. Take a little break from everyday life here and recharge your batteries.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
In Pottenstein, you’ll find a grocery store, several bakeries, a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, and a hair salon right on site.
