Experience an unforgettable vacation at the Arche-Naturhof Buschwiesen in Wilsum.

Whether it’s exciting adventures on the farm among old breeds of farm animals and even llamas, or the beautiful surroundings of the Wilsum Mountains—it’s pure nature. Anything is possible here!

The Arche Buschwiesen Nature Farm is located on the outskirts of Wilsum.

Attractions like the Wilsum Mountains, the moors toward Hoogstede, or the Itterbeck Spring and Itterbeck Heath are not far away. It’s even a short trip to the Netherlands.

Of course, there’s plenty to do right here on our farm!

Our animals are always happy to have visitors—especially our cats and rabbits, who are just waiting to be cuddled. But our pigs also love it when you bring them apples and give them a good rub.
It’s Easter every day with our chickens, and you can go on an egg hunt! You can watch our ducks in the pond. (We’re currently raising a new generation of ducks. They’ll be back in the pond in the spring of 2026.)
As an insider tip, we’ll show you what our llamas love to eat most as treats—right from your hand. Then they’ll definitely let you cuddle them, too!
If you’re up for some farm work, you’re welcome to help us muck out the barn and with all sorts of other tasks.

Our orchard meadow is teeming with insects, and our beekeeper’s bees are buzzing around their hives. With magnifying glasses and identification guides—which you can borrow from us—you can discover and observe many fascinating little creatures. Just ask!

There’s also plenty to see in our ponds: aquatic insects, microscopic organisms, and many different plants and creatures, as well as frogs and dragonflies.

The grounds also feature a climbing structure for the kids, a fire pit with a fire bowl for cozy campfire evenings, and a ping-pong table, as well as all kinds of outdoor games that you can borrow upon request.

Our attic apartment is approximately 70 square meters.
The kitchen is located in the extra-wide hallway, which opens into a cozy living and dining area with a flat-screen TV, where you can sit comfortably by the balcony window and admire the entire backyard. A high chair is available for the little ones.
The couch is a pull-out and can be used as a sleeper sofa.
In the master bedroom, you can gaze at the stars right from your bed through the skylight.
The small bathroom with a modern shower is located right between the master bedroom and the children’s room, which has two single beds.

A private parking space is available to you free of charge. Wi-Fi and final cleaning are included in the price, and if it happens to rain, we have plenty of board games for you right here!


Good to know:

Lambing season
February–April: During this time, our sheep herds are right on the farm, and our ewes give birth to their lambs. Who knows? Maybe you’ll get to witness a birth or feed bottle-fed lambs.

Shearing Season
May–June: Our sheep are in groups on the farm, and we’re busy shearing them. Come watch us—and help us out!
