Just 8 minutes away from the beach, or fishing out of Winchester bay. Located in a private gated community, with ultimate privacy. Bring your friends and family as there is plenty of space for Rv's and boats.
Welcome to Salty Dunes a beautifully designed vacation rental with direct dune access and just minutes to Winchester Bay. This is not your typical Airbnb, it is a brand new home with top of the line furniture, beds and gorgeous property views.

THE PROPERTY Starting with your arrival to our 5-acre oasis, you will be surrounded by the scents of nature and sand. In the back, is a covered gazebo with fire pit & 6 camp chairs and patio furniture. Also, a second fire pit right in the sand and lots of sand toys for kids to play with. There is no shortage of sand to play in on our property.
The home is currently listed for sale but not to worry as it will not interfere what so ever with your reservation.
THE HOME Our home has an open feel perfect for entertaining with an open living room, dining room kitchen concept but plenty of private spaces as well.
The living room has an electric reclining couch, 4 separate chairs for lounging accompanied by a 80 inch tv big enough for everyone to see. Also located in the living room is a Murphy bed located in a Murphy cabinet below the tv.
The dining room has a dining table for 10 and 5 bar stools up at the island and a mini fridge for extra drinks.
ROOMS All rooms have a TV and all 3 king beds are brand new top of the line beds. Extra blankets provided in each room. The bunk bed room has tons of kids toys toy play with, a toddler bed and a table to play at. In our master is a relaxing soaking tub.
WIFI Because this property in a rural area the cell phone coverage is poor. We do offer STAR-LINK WIFI
GAMES We offer multiple board games, cards, books and corn hole, horse shoe, jenga.
GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the entire property. Please note, DO NOT DRIVE OR RIDE IN THE FENCED OFF AREA AS IT IS OUR SEPTIC SYSTEM.
PARKING This home has a 2-car garage you can park in plus lots of extra gravel space to park on the property. Please DO NOT park or drive any vehicles or ATVS on the sand on our property.
LONG STAYS Stays longer than 2 weeks: We require a light cleaning every 2 weeks in addition to the checkout cleaning. (prices TBD)
NOISE Please be aware this property is backed up to the Dunes where people ride their ATVS and UTVS all day and night so you will hear the sounds of the vehicles ridding on the dunes at all hours.
NO VAPING OR SMOKING IN HOME AND PLEASE NO SHOES IN HOME
ANIMALS Pets are permitted pending approval first. Not all pets may be approved.
RENTAL AGREEMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT We require all guests that book our home to put a $500-1,000 dollar refundable deposit down. Deposit will be refunded so long as the home is left un damaged and no additional cleaning is needed and all house rules were followed. We also require all guest to sign our rental agreement and uploaded selfie and ID. All items must be completed 48 hours prior to check in, or the reservation will be cancelled.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT We require that the guest responsible for booking our home be a minimum of 25 years of age. ID WILL BE VERIFIED PRIOR TO CHECK IN.
CANCELLATION POLICY Our rental contract will specify that GUESTS can cancel within at least 5 days of booking starting for a full refund. We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover any losses.
NOISE ORDINANCE: This is a family home. We encourage our guests to have fun, but please be respectful and mindful of our sweet neighbors and please keep the noise at a reasonable level.
SECURITY CAMERAS There is a ring doorbell with a camera at the front door of the home.
WILDLIFE & MAINTENANCE Our home is in a rural neighborhood with large lots and a lot of wildlife. There will be a lot of insects, bugs and other creatures that give the property its wonderful relaxing country feel. While we stay on top of pest maintenance, we ask you to expect that bugs may enter the home when doors are left open, get tracked in on shoes and luggage and are part of life in the country. If you have allergies to bees, please be aware there will likely be bees buzzing around. There will not be any refunds or cancellations in regard to normal bugs & wildlife. We appreciate your understanding of this.
SAFETY CONSIDERATION: Please read safety considerations at the bottom of this listing.
The entire back yard has a very large drop off edge beyond the green plastic fence. Please do not let kids play unattended in the back yard as we will not be responsible for any injuries. Also please do not play or go near the edge of the drop off or green fencing as it may be unstable as its sand and can collapse and you can fall down it.
OTHER: Please do not climb or ride on any of the rock walls surrounding the property. Also please do not walk through any of the brush unless there is a designated walking path, and please do not climb on the green fencing.

SMOKING We maintain a strict no smoking and no vaping policy in the home. Failure to adhere to this rule could result in a significant fine (minimum of $250)
BATHROOMS Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. This includes sanitary napkins, wipes or other foreign objects. If any foreign objects are flushed during your stay, you risk being charged a plumbing fee of up to $500 for service
Failure to follow house rules during your stay will result in fines and non-refundable cancellation of your reservation and your deposit will not be refunded. If you are unable to follow these house rules, please let us know so we can discuss alternatives including potential of cancelling the reservation.
