Kitchen and bathroom are a little bit small, but there is everything you need. We also had a car so it was very nice that we could use the underground parking spot. We visited the caves, went to Frigiliana, we hiked trough the Rio Chillar and of course we had fun at Burriana beach. The old town of Nerja is also very nice with a lot of restaurants.

All my conversations with Kristine were answered quickly and accurately, some of my questions were probably silly as we had not booked flights and apartment separately so we are not seasoned travellers. We loved the apartment, which was clean and perfectly done. We are coming back for two weeks next year, unfortunately not at this apartment as we felt we needed satellite tv as most evenings we stayed in and I cooked, that is the only reason though, I loved it here and Kristine was lovely.

Contact with the owner is quick and pleasant. Car parking in the garage and the pool for the kids is great. Nerja is a very lovely little town only 15-20 pleasant walk away and specially Burriana beach is the best beach in the neighbourhood! 5-10 minutes down the street. We walked the Rio Chillar walk with our 2 kids 8 and 9 years old. Exciting and what a beautifull environment! Don’t look any further, this is the place you’re looking for... We would recommend to everybody!!!

Pros: This apartment is perfect for a holiday in Nerja. It is very well equipped both in the kitchen and with parasols and sun chairs for the beach/pool. The balcony is a good size, for enjoying dinner and relaxing during the day and evening. The addition of candles were a lovely extra touch. The pool is great, we holidayed in August and the pool was never overcrowded we even had it to ourselves in the late afternoon on some days. We hired a car which is a must for exploring the gorgeous beaches up the coast and for visiting the Alhambra in Granada. A secure underground parking space was very much appreciated. The location of the apartment is a 5 min walk to Burriana beach. It is in a residential area so away from the noisy bars. We would definately stay in this apartment again.

Pros: A very good apartment in Nerja, above Burriana beach. The location of the apartment is super, abort 5-7 minute walk down to Burriana beach and about the same to walk up the street to the big foodstore Mercadona. A good foodstore with a lot to choose. A walk to the beautiful little centre of Nerja and Balcon of Europa takes 20-25 minutes walking with smäller children, I would guess 15-20 min without children. The apartment has two good bedrooms with big closets. The Livingroom is nice and there is a small kitchen where you can fine everything you need to prepare dinner at Home. But the balcony/terasse is the best! The view overlooking the white houses and the poolarea and also the ocean in the background. There is a big table for dining and a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The only thing that I can think of (We didn't mind) can be that the smaller bedroom is situated towards the staircase and elevator area and the walls and windows are not thick. Noise can easy be heard and also a waterpipeline is in the wall behind the high bed and when the neighbours use the washingmachine you hear the water. But there are signs by the elevator to keep the noise down and as I wrote above, we didn't mind. A lot of good restaurants at Burriana beachwalk and the street behind, some small shops also. The citycentre offer everything you need. We enjoyed our first visit in Nerja very much and Kristine has been very helpful and nice. The apartment is clean with high standard according to us.

Terrible experience from start to finish

We raised most of these issues a couple of days into our stay. The door was jamming as you open it which was loud and jarring. The kitchen, while it looks basic on the pictures, is much worse in real life and looks like it hasn't been updated since the block was built. There were very loose wall tiles in the kitchen that looked only one push away from falling off the wall. The floor tiles in the living room are loose also and our 2-year-old son tripped and had a nasty fall because of this. The terrace doors wouldn't lock so we had to report this as a security concern. It was addressed and fixed a couple of days after we reported it but that was disruptive and the owner/management was somehow unaware of this issue. The lights on the terrace weren't working so we had to get them fixed in order to use the terrace at night. Again, something that should be checked regularly. The bathroom was is a terrible state of repair, loose tiles on the floor and walls, ceiling tiles were also in a bad state with holes at the join. The shower head needs replacing as it drops and would flood to bathroom if you didn't notice. When we arrived, it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly as the toilet had not been flushed which was horrible. There were beach chairs which the owner said had been left by previous visitors but they were broken. When we reported this, they removed one but took the one we had bought which was working. Completely overpriced and I feel ripped off. Truly zero stars.
