The Space:

This Sunriver home is smartly furnished, offering three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths on a quiet street. It has a private hot tub, SHARC passes, air conditioning, and WiFi.



Located in a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by ponderosa pines, this is a restful place to stay. Bend and Mt. Bachelor are both easy day trips away.



There is a gas fireplace and a cable TV with a DVD player in the living room, while the loft has a couch and entertainment center. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and dishwasher. The large deck has a gas grill for preparing freshly caught fish to perfection. There are bikes for your use in the double-car garage.



The king master bedroom is downstairs and has a private bathroom and cable TV. The rest of the bedrooms are upstairs. The queen bedroom and twin/trundle bedroom have a bathroom between them. This home can comfortably sleep up to six guests, and with a washer and dryer, it is ideal for longer stays.



Spend afternoons kayaking on the river, or try your hand at fly fishing. For those interested in science, it's well worth taking a trip to the Sunriver Observatory for an up-close look at the night sky. You'll also have access to the pools, lazy river, and water slides at SHARC.

Everything was exactly as advertised. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was in great condition and was a good temp, the SHARC passes worked, it was a very quiet area but close to everything we needed.

We loved the location and the layout of this home. The rugs are definitely in need of cleaning and the toilet in the primary bathroom needs to be replaced. Oh, and the upstairs shower whistles loudly!We did like the size of the dining room table and the well supplied kitchen. All in all, we had a fabulous time.

Beautiful Family Friendly Home

We loved staying here. SHARC passes were useful. Hot tub was nice after a long day at Bachelor which is just about a half hour away. Great quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shops. Thank you.

Great location, Lots of windows and Lovely Home

We loved all the windows that brought in lots of natural light . The kitchen was well stocked and the refrigerator was decent size . The beds were comfortable , and having two and a half bathrooms was very helpful . We loved that we were within walking distance of Fort Rock Park....(.7 of a mile) We loved having access to air conditioning. And, Vacasa's Customer Service was wonderful with the few issues we had. We would gladly rent this home again!

Summer trip

House was great, unfortunately the A/C wasn’t working when we came in and took them to end of second say to fix. There were some other issues like no propane that also got addressed but not till the day after notifying the office. We did enjoy the house and set up was as pictured/described.

Quiet and comfortable for family wit young kids

We stayed here for a winter snow vacation with our two young children. The house is pretty clean and comfortable, and very quiet and private. The beds were very comfortable. The customer service left a bit to be desired. Although prompt with responses it didn't really resolve issues satisfactorily. Neither of the two fireplaces were working during our stay and there wasn't a lot of effort to help us get them functioning. Check-out is 10 a.m., pretty early considering the cost and also the clean-up guests are responsible for (pretty standard but 10 is early to pack everything, take out garbage, do dishes, etc.) and you pay for a later check-out. It is pretty toddler-friendly but no high chair.

Comfortable and relaxing.

We had a great time in Sunriver. The house is comfortable and is conveniently located near the village and grocery store. It has a fully stocked kitchen and large dining table. The coffee maker is not a Kuerig so bring ground coffee, there are plenty of filters. COVID protocols made it impossible for us to get into the SHARQ so the hot tub came in very handy. The walls around the tub made it nice and private so it felt like being in the forest. The king bed was very comfortable. The queen is a little soft. The decor is dated but that didn’t bother us. My suggestion would be to replace the bath / hand towels; new Costco towels are inexpensive and feel luxurious. This is a comfortable house in a great setting. We enjoyed our stay. My review is not meant to be critical but to give feedback to help make it even better.

Everything about this house was perfect for us. We loved that the kitchen was stocked with an excellent selection of pots, pans, baking dishes, cooking utensils. We had brought several kitchen items with us not knowing what would be there, but it was almost like being home. We ended up not needing the items we had brought. The property management was very responsive. There was no gas in the grill tank when we arrived, and they brought a replacement within an hour. The pilot light was out on the fireplace, and they were there within 30 minutes. There was a leak at the base of one of the toilets, and they were there immediately and had it fixed in 25 minutes. The beds were comfortable, there was a nice selection of games and videos, and plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to watch TV or just hang out. The hot tub was my grandson's favorite place to be. The walking/biking trails were amazing, and the daily visits of deer in the back yard just a foot off the deck was so exciting. The house was just a 7 minute bike ride from the village which was really convenient. We will definitely be returning and will rent this house again.

Good vacation home

Reviewer Comments: This is usually our home of choice for Sunriver, because its layout is great for our three children, who range in age from 9 to 20, and in the summer, it is an easy riding distance to Fort Rock, SHARC and the Village. This is our first time in the winter, though, and our experience was not as wonderful as it has been in the past. The beds were less comfortable than I remember, and it was hard to regulate the heat at night (one of the upstairs bedrooms was quite a bit colder than the others). I had forgotten there is no wifi, and while this is not an issue really in the summer, it is a pretty big annoyance in the winter, because we are simply indoors more. Mavericks was close enough, that when we needed wifi, we could walk down during the day and get things done that we needed to. I would probably pick a different home if we were to come again in the winter, but overall, it really is a great home!

Not great

Up to Sunriver/Bend/Mt. Bachelor area for a ski/snowboarding trip. Property listing specifically states that the living room has a gas fireplace… which the family was looking forward to after long days on the mountain… except that the fireplace was not working. Called to ask about the fireplace and was told that it was a known issue that could not be fixed during our stay. Wouldn’t have booked this property had this been disclosed at the time the property was booked. My biggest issue is that this was known to be a problem but wasn’t disclosed prior to booking. Poor communication at the very least… dishonest at worst. There is also a fireplace in the main downstairs bedroom that was not working either. This one wasn’t quite as bothersome since it wasn’t listed in the property description so I wasn’t expecting it upon arrival.

Cleanliness and AC issues

The location was great, close to FTRock Park, easy 2 mile bike ride to the village. Several bikes were available, and 8 SHARC passes. But, the house was not cleaned when we arrived (we were approved for 30 mins early check in). Cleaners returned and weren’t finished until after normal check in time. The carpet is absolutely filthy. Truly needs to be replaced, but even a good steam clean would help. Finally- we rented specifically bc this had AC, but the AC was locked at 72. When it’s 95/97 out 72 doesn’t cool the second floor bedrooms. I wouldn’t rent this house again. We have used Vacasa several times, but this one did it meet the standard we expected.
