Rent a few beach cruisers and enjoy the lush greenery with a bike tour of the island. Take a trip a bit farther away and window-shop at Coligny Beach Plaza with local boutiques galore. Though the swell on the island isn't usually large, the surfers of the family can catch a few waves at Burkes Beach (four miles northeast).

Palmetto Dunes Turnberry Village

We loved our stay in Hilton Head! This unit is very accessible to the pool & beach parking access. Also, the neighborhood General Store & bike rental location - HH Outfitters - make food & recreation super convenient! You’re also very close to shelter Cove where we loved brunch @ the french bakery, walking around the marina, & fireworks on Tuesday evening! Thanks for sharing your property! Would love to be back soon!

Fun Quick Weekend Get-away

We took a quick weekend trip to surprise our daughter for her 23rd Birthday. We have stayed in Turnberry many times in the past but first time here. We really enjoyed our stay here and thought the unit was perfect for what we needed. Maybe they have done some updates to the bathrooms since some older reviews, but we thought everything was clean, nicely decorated, and overall a great place to stay in. We would consider again, thank you!

We loved our stay in Hilton Head! The villa was comfortable for our family with plenty of space that was clean and beautifully decorated. The owners have done a great job of making a home away from home. I loved the binder that included maps and recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We will definitely be making a return trip!

Property was very clean. We had a few questions and they replied almost immediately. So the communication before our trip during and after with them was very good.We really enjoyed staying here. Great location and close to the beach, and also had chairs and other items for the beach .

Great condo on the golf course perfect to share with friends. Comfortable and roomy, close to beach. Enjoyed Palmetto Dunes activities including pickelball, bike rides and restaurants. Easy in/out.

Very spacious and comfortably appointed. Plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. Beaches were a short and easy drive, beautiful with access to food. Early April, the pool was a disappointment, unheated and full of outdoor debris.

Great location- but showing its age

We’ve rented 3x- prices like most rentals have skyrocketed- and at this price with now less beds- would consider it an average rental. It’s a wonderful set up having the 3 bathrooms, lg dining area and newer decor, but hvac is a pretty big issue and mattresses were in pretty bad shape.

Was very disappointed.

We liked the location; supermarkets and shopping centers were close by. The beds were HORRIBLE! They were very uncomfortable and kept rolling all over the place. The entire structure of the home felt cheap. You cannot take a step up the stairs without sounding like the giant from “Jack and the Beanstalk”. You also cannot turn in the beds without waking up the entire neighborhood. The check-in process was very confusing. We were visiting from out of town, and it seems that was not considered in the check in process. The property is very strict, so our relatives could not visit us. The property had multiple villages/subdivisions, and ours was very hard to find. There were no streetlights, and the security guards were no help, they did not know the location, nor did the house location pop up on Google Maps. The passes to access the property were at another location after hours, so if you arrive there late, you must play find the needle in the haystack to get access. We had to wake up our relatives to help us find the house, so if you don't know anyone there, good luck! I've stayed at similar properties in the past where property access was not this difficult, and the security guard had our passes waiting for us at the gate. For this property the security turned us away to go to another location just to get the passes (in the middle of the night). This was not ideal, especially when traveling with children. It was very annoying! The cleanliness of the house was decent, but we didn't even get a complimentary bottle of water. Other properties at least get you started with cheap breakfast snacks and coffee. The room for improvement is endless.

Small details that need attention / Lovely location and decor

We stay in Palmetto Dunes every year. We have stayed in Turnberry multiple times so we knew the location and floor plan / layout well. And we are huge fans of both of these things. This specific condo did leave a few things that need to be addressed in our opinion. I am big on cleanliness and this unit was not clean when we arrived. There was spilled coffee (dried) and coffee grounds on the kitchen counter. There were hair balls in the corners of some rooms / base boards needed dusting. It did not appear that any bed sheets had been washed in all 3 rooms (the beds were made but when we pulled them back, the sheets were dirty with sand, hair, and the twin bed even had glitter all over the sheets). I spent our first day there cleaning, stripping bedding and washing our sheets. There was also a smell of mold / mildew in certain areas of the condo (specifically in the kitchen by the stove, inside the fridge, and both of the upstairs bathrooms). Multiple air vents have black mildew around them on the ceiling and have black dust on the vents. It almost made me wonder if there had previously been water damage and also that the air ducts need to be deep cleaned. The washing machine did work but its extremely loud. We also had a TON of caterpillars and spiders in the condo (like a lot, even had to remove catepillars that were crawling on my baby while in his high chair). The condo has been updated and is very tastefully decorated - and again the floor plan and location are great. It just seems like the company managing it is not cleaning it / maintaining it well for the owner and for the price you pay to stay here, I expected more cleanliness. I hate to complain but want to provide constructive feed back to improve this for the next guest. We still had an amazing time as always!

We were very upset at the poor job that was done cleaning the unit. I have a picture of my shower if you want to see it with a massive clump of hair on the shower floor and several long hairs "stuck" on the shower walls. The kitchen faucet area had a lot of "guck" that we had to clean off. We vacuumed the rug on our second day and we amazed at how much hair was on the rug .... someone had a pet in there for sure. from the prior renter- finally, someone should take a look from the deck and then compare to the pictures on your web site - quite a difference.

Lovely beach home

This darling 3bdm/3ba beach getaway is the perfect escape for your vacation! I’ve been visiting Hilton Head with my family for 22 years and I absolutely loved the cleanliness, decor, amenities, location..it was perfect! Don’t pass this one up!

Great stay!

We returned home from our vacation a few days ago. It was our first time in Hilton Head since we usually travel to Marco Island where we have a condo. We needed a nice family friendly place to stay for a wedding and couldn’t not have enjoyed our stay more. The place was clean, spacious and conveniently located to everything. We will certainly be back and look forward to making this an annual visit for our family.
