Pretty terrible experience. The process of checking in was terrible (very painful online portal with ID verification required). then the check-in instructions they gave me were incorrect and did not get me into the apartment. But the biggest thing is that the air conditioning was broken in the unit and it was 78 when we got in while it was at night. They assured me they had another property where the air conditioning was working but we got into that apartment and the temperature was the exact same. We asked for a refund and the representative assured me we would get a refund but now they are fighting me and are unwilling to pay. Stay away!!

Came in for one night with my husband and daughters 2 friends for Noah Kahan at Wrigley Field. Setup was convenient with one bathroom inside bed suite, the other full bath for my daughter and friends next to the other bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. We arrived early parked across street and walked around the city, had lunch nearby, then were able to wait in the cute lobby on the roof until our room was ready. The location was perfect, parking across the street (if that wouldn’t have been open there is an overnight lot like 2 blocks away). It was just a block away from the loop trains and 8 min walk to get to the red line which took us all the way to Wrigley. It’s a short walk to the bean and shops like target , tj max. My daughter loved that Taco Bell was literally next door. Day time felt extremely safe, late night return from concert from subway (12:30am) back had to take the long way around some questionable people. Not unexpected for a downtown spot! We would absolutely stay here again. Only complaint is there was a coffee maker but no coffee so we went to a nearby shop.

Issue with check-in: The day of check-in we had to fill out a fairly extensive form and put down a refundable deposit as part of a verification process which was not expected. After completing this it took awhile to be verified, so we did not receive the access code to the building or unit right away. The first person to arrive had to contact the host to get the verification pushed through. The building code we did receive also did not work, and we required assistance from the security guard, Don. Don was very welcoming and helpful.Location: The apartment was in the perfect location for the purpose of our stay- the Chicago marathon. However, it is located right next to a train which was VERY loud.Accommodation:Building- The building is historic and dated, which also means noisy. The area is extremely loud during all hours of the night and this noise translates to the unit.Unit: Inclusions were very minimal, with limited kitchenware and only a couple of towels (had to request more). There is very little decor and the furniture is basic which is fine for a rental but less than was expected for the price we paid. The bedroom that had windows was extremely noisy and bright (shades weren't effective) and the other two rooms have open-air cutouts near the ceiling to the living room, so little privacy or noise control. The unit was well located, clean and fine for a family, but overall was very barebones and loud.
