The SILVER ROOM, which overlooks the fortress, is approximately 25 m² in size. It is located on the 2nd floor of the Stein Lodge and features a box-spring double bed, a table with two chairs, and a pull-out couch with a coffee table. The compact, fully equipped kitchen features a stovetop and a Cremesso coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink.



Built in 1540, this historic, landmark-protected building consists of 5 completely renovated and lovingly designed apartments, as well as a rooftop terrace open to all guests, offering a breathtaking view directly of the fortress and across Salzburg’s Old Town. Thanks to its central location, the Stein Lodge is just a few steps away from most attractions, such as the fortress, Salzburg Cathedral, Mozart’s birthplace, Mirabellplatz, the Festspielhaus, and Getreidegasse. The Stein Lodge is located on historic Steingasse and combines a historic ambiance with modern design, enhanced by 25 art prints by contemporary artist Jürgen Fux that adorn the historic, protected building. Due to the building’s historic structure, the Stein Lodge has no elevator, features varying ceiling heights, and is equipped with historic doors and windows that are protected as cultural heritage. The modernly renovated rooms, situated directly against the rock face of the Kapuzinerberg—part of which is visible from inside the building—along with the works of art, give the apartments their unique charm. The rooftop terrace, freely accessible to all guests and offering a unique view of the fortress and the Old Town, rounds out the extraordinary ambiance of the Stein-Lodge.
