Nestled at Elk Heights Ranch just off I-90 (Exit 93), this private ranch cabin suite offers peaceful seclusion surrounded by forest and open land—yet is only 10 minutes from Cle Elum and 15 minutes from Ellensburg.

The suite is one of four identical private guest suites located in a standalone ranch cabin building. Each suite has its own private entrance, private patio, fireplace, and large soaking tub, allowing guests to enjoy privacy while still being close to friends or family who may book neighboring suites.

Many groups and families choose to reserve multiple suites so everyone can stay close while still enjoying their own private space.

The Suite

This thoughtfully designed studio suite is a cozy and romantic retreat featuring:

• King-size bed
• Large soaking tub for two
• Gas fireplace
• Private patio overlooking the ranch
• Smart TV with streaming services
• Starlink high-speed Wi-Fi
• Laptop-friendly workspace
• Mini-split heating and air conditioning

The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, wine glasses, coffee, and tea.

Fresh towels and EO brand bath products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion) are also provided.

The Ranch Experience

Elk Heights Ranch is a historic dude ranch dating back to the 1940s and sits on 200 acres of privately owned forest and open land.

Guests are welcome to explore the ranch’s private trail system, which winds through forests and open meadows—perfect for peaceful walks, biking, wildlife viewing, and enjoying the quiet beauty of Central Washington.

Our neighboring ranch property along the Yakima River adds another 200 acres of private land, giving guests access to over 400 acres of ranch, forest, and riverfront to explore.

You’ll often see our ranch horses and cattle grazing nearby, adding to the authentic ranch atmosphere.

Evenings on the ranch are especially memorable—gather around a campfire and enjoy some of the best stargazing in Central Washington.

The ranch is ideally located for exploring Central Washington:

• Yakima River floating and fishing nearby
• Yakima Valley wineries within easy driving distance
• Cross-country skiing trails within an hour
• Skiing and snowboarding at Snoqualmie Pass within an hour
• The Bavarian village of Leavenworth about an hour away

Mountain biking trails are also located nearby along Taneum Road and throughout Cle Elum, Roslyn, and Ellensburg.

A legal motorized recreation trailhead for dirt bikes, ATVs, side-by-sides, and snowmobiles is located just 5 minutes away.

The Palouse to Cascades Trail runs alongside our lower ranch property along the Yakima River and can be accessed directly from the ranch.

Parking is available for cars, trucks, and trailers.

Good to Know

Elk Heights Ranch is a quiet rural property surrounded by forest and open land. Wildlife such as elk, coyotes, owls, hawks, and bald eagles are commonly seen on the ranch.

A personal vehicle is required to access the ranch, as ride-share and delivery services are limited in the area.

During winter months (November–March), driveway conditions can occasionally be snowy or icy, and all-wheel drive or chains may be recommended.

Because the ranch is home to livestock and wildlife, pets are not permitted.
