Step inside and settle in -- every room and amenity in this home is yours for your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Parking is available in the garage. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.



The Neighborhood:

This home is located in The Sea Ranch on the Sonoma Coast, a masterfully planned community known for its dramatic coastline, meadows, and forest trails. Nearby highlights include Shell Beach tidepools (2-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant and(2-minute drive), Black Point headland trails (4-minute drive). The community features miles of bluff-top and forest trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant and. Gualala is a quick 10-minute drive south for groceries, dining, and fuel. For a scenic outing, Jenner and Bodega Bay are further down Highway 1.



Getting Around:

Sea Ranch is located on the Sonoma Coast, approximately 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1. The closest airport is Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area. The scenic drive along Highway 1 is part of the experience.

Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday.

Relaxing time in nature

The house was well laid out, comfortable and cosy. The ocean views on one side and the mountain forest views on the other were spectacular. The house was well equipped. The second bedroom is in a seperate wing with it's own private sitting area downstairs. This was ideal for our adult son who came for a weekend visit. We especially appreciated and enjoyed the private hot tub on the deck for relaxation.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Timber and Tide. The home is beautifully maintained; clean and thoughtfully furnished to make the most of the space. We especially loved the peaceful setting; even though it's just above the highway, it was very quiet and serene. Watching deer wander past, spotting wild turkeys and even a fox from the windows made us feel immersed in nature.The layout of the house is perfect for two couples, with a second bedroom and bath offering complete privacy from the main living area. The cozy reading nooks and expansive views gave us plenty of places to unwind, and the hot tub was a highlight - generously sized with stunning sunset views. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you might need if you want to cook.From ocean views in front to rolling hills in the back, this home truly captures the beauty of Sea Ranch. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to disconnect and recharge. We have been coming to Sea Ranch for 20 years and stayed in many homes. This is one of the best! Can’t wait to come back!

The property felt a bit unattended with this as our greeting upon arrival.Other than that, our stay was lovely. It’s a beautiful home with a few items that need tending to:Front gate lock does not stay shut as screws are stripped Ice maker in non operationalUnder cabinet kitchen light were non operationalToilet brush in upper bath is needed and flushing system is quite weak.Knives need sharpening they are super dullExterior trash, compost and recycling were full from the previous guest. The binder said pick up Monday. We called management and they replied pick up was Wednesday, but we had already put the bins out on the street and indeed the pick up was Monday.Their was no direction to us to leave bins in storage closet or take up to the street.A very large home with a lovely view and easy access to Ohlson swimming pool which was delightful. Trails were wonderful.Thank you!

Loved the house, hot tub, many views, good water pressure. Needed a deep clean to remove cob webs and check for light bulbs that need replacement. Saw some ants in bathrooms.
