Our newly built, accessible 5-star vacation homes, “Wegwarte***** & Pommerbach*****,” are at ground level and can be accessed without steps. They are situated away from the noise of trains and traffic on the Mosel Road (B49), are modernly equipped, and feature floor heating, a controlled ventilation system for a comfortable indoor climate, and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the rooms with light. The spacious bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower and an infrared sauna, will pamper you after a day of physical activity. The electric roller shutters can darken the rooms at night, if desired. External venetian blinds in the living area keep the heat out in summer without darkening the room too much.<br>In addition to the open-concept kitchen, the living area features a large Smart TV with a soundbar. The soundbar allows you to play your own music via Bluetooth. You have free access to our Wi-Fi.<br>The spacious terrace has direct access from the living area as well as from the bedroom. The terrace is protected from wind and rain on three sides when needed, so it can be used even on cool fall days. On warm days, you can open the sliding glass wall. <br>Each of our vacation homes features one double bedroom and one single bedroom.<br>In the shared utility room, one washing machine and one dryer are available free of charge for each vacation home. <br><br>There are six bike racks in the garage. It also features six electrical outlets and storage space for your e-bike chargers. You can lock your bikes there if needed. This ensures they’re safely stored. <br><br>A wood-burning grill is available.<br><br><br>Surroundings:<br>Enjoy the diverse landscape of the Eifel and Moselle regions. Whether by road bike, MTB, or e-MTB. Our “Traumpfade” trails and the Moselsteig trail also invite you to go hiking. Several award-winning hiking trails are located right nearby. <br>In our exclusive vacation homes in Brieden, you’ll find the peace and relaxation of the Eifel. The immediate proximity to the Moselle also makes Brieden a particularly interesting destination.<br>In our guest folder, which we’ll send you after you book, you’ll find plenty of ideas and suggestions for your vacation.<br><br><br>Special features:<br>The area around Brieden offers opportunities for hiking, biking, swimming, running, and much more. We’ve mapped out many bike tours for you on Komot—whether on road bikes or mountain bikes—to suit a wide range of needs. Many routes take you to the most beautiful viewpoints, such as the view from the Eifel into the Moselle Valley, a visit to Eltz Castle, the town of Monreal, and more. We deliberately choose paths away from traffic through the forests of the Eifel and the Moselle region (free of charge). Guided road bike tours are available upon request (not included in the price).<br><br><br>Other recreational options<br>The “Moselbad Cochem” water park offers something for all ages, no matter the weather. During the warmer months, in addition to the outdoor pool in Cochem (50-meter lane), the natural swimming areas at the Maare in Schalkenmehren or the Pulvermaar in Gillenfeld are great spots for swimming.<br>From Cochem, you can book a boat tour on the Moselle or take a trip to the little village of Beilstein. <br>For motorsports enthusiasts, the Nürburgring is not far away, and you’ll find a climbing park near Mayen. The “Klotti” amusement park is nearby. The “Geierlay” suspension bridge is one of the longest in Europe and is only 22 km away. The cities of Trier and Koblenz are well worth a visit. There’s plenty to discover around Brieden.
