Vacation Rental 1 is located on the first floor of the former farmhouse on our farmstead. It measures 95 m², is wheelchair-accessible, and features a living room, two bedrooms (each with two beds), a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a spacious bathroom with a height-adjustable sink, a walk-in (wheelchair-accessible) shower, and a toilet. There is a terrace with seating for four people. The apartment is equipped with satellite TV, a DVD player, a stereo system with radio/CD player, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen features an electric stove with oven and ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment. A high chair is available for small children.

Both vacation apartments share access to a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board in the laundry room in the basement. Bedding and towels are provided.
Parking is available on our property. For children, the garden features a trampoline, a go-kart, and plenty of space to play.



The town of Mönkeberg is located on the eastern side of the Kiel Fjord, right next to the state capital, Kiel. Our farm is located in the Mönkeberg Oberdorf neighborhood. The distance to the beach and the ferry terminal for the Fjord ferries is approximately 1.9 km. Shopping facilities and bus stops for routes to Kiel, Heikendorf, and Laboe are about 1.3 km away. You can reach downtown Kiel as well as the ferry terminals to Norway, Sweden, and Eastern Europe by bus or car in about 20 minutes.
Our two family-friendly vacation apartments were completed in 2012.

Vacation Apartment 2 is located on the upper floor of the former farmhouse on our farmstead. It measures 69 m² and features a living room, two bedrooms (each with two beds), a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet. There is a balcony with seating for four people.
The apartment features satellite TV, a DVD player, a stereo system with radio/CD player, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range with oven and ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment.

Both vacation apartments have shared access to a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board in the laundry room in the basement. Bed linens and towels are provided.
Parking is available on our property. For children, there’s a go-kart to drive around the large yard and plenty of space to play.



On-site costs: Included: Wi-Fi, bed linens and towels, washing machine, dryer; Not included: Pet fee of 5.00 euros per night. Upon request, we provide a travel crib for children ages 0–3 free of charge.Extra bed: 10.00 euros per night. Payment terms: Please make a deposit of 20% 14 days after booking. The remaining balance must be credited to the landlord’s account no later than 7 days before arrival.Cancellation Policy: Up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge (the deposit will be refunded); up to 7 days before arrival: 20%; thereafter 90%, should the apartment not be able to be rented to another guest.If arrival is not possible due to COVID-19-related reasons (ban on lodging, entry ban), all payments made to date will be refunded.
