Enjoy the central yet quiet location. <br><br>The apartment is fully equipped, including towels and bed linens, and is located just a five-minute walk from the basilica in Ottobeuren. Numerous shopping options, the swimming pool, pharmacies, and ATMs are also within easy walking distance.<br><br>The self-contained apartment is located on the first floor of a vacation home and consists of the following rooms:<br><br>• 1 bedroom with a double bed for 2 people (1.8x2m), a closet, and a dresser.<br>• 1 living/dining/bedroom with a sleeper sofa (1.4 x 2 m), 42-inch TV, radio, dining table, and chairs. A high chair for children is available upon request. This walk-through room leads to the kitchen, the bedroom, and the small hallway.<br>• 1 kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker, sink, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils.<br>• 1 bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, washing machine, and window.<br><br>There are also a few chairs and a table outside. Freshly laundered towels and bed linens are provided. You’ll also find additional items for daily use in the respective rooms. <br><br>Thanks to its ground-floor location, the rooms remain comfortably cool even when outside temperatures are high, even without air conditioning.<br><br>Make yourself at home during your stay.<br><br>You’ll have the apartment all to yourselves. The apartment has its own private entrance. The building shares a common entrance with the vacation rental on the upper floor. <br><br>Free parking is available at the building or in the parking lot across the street.<br><br>Expansion option:<br>There is another vacation rental on the upper floor (HoLiDay MAIsoNETTE Allgäu), which can be booked separately if needed and available. Another option is to book the entire vacation home (HoLiDay HouSE Allgäu).<br><br>Flexibility and security:<br>The house is equipped with a key safe, allowing you to arrive at your convenience. To prevent unauthorized access, there is a camera in the foyer, which is shared with the vacation apartment on the upper floor.<br><br>The accommodations are an excellent starting point for numerous shopping and recreational activities. The Oberallgäu, Munich, Ulm, Kempten, and the Lake Constance region can all be reached in less than an hour by car.<br><br>The apartment is very centrally located in the active spa town of Ottobeuren in the Allgäu Alpine foothills. Ottobeuren is an ideal retreat for culture, relaxation, wellness, and sports. It is internationally renowned for its Benedictine Abbey, which is over 1,250 years old—one of the largest Baroque monastery complexes in Europe—and its imposing basilica, which hosts world-class church concerts. <br><br>The basilica and the Benedictine Abbey, numerous shopping options, pharmacies, ATMs, restaurants, and the outdoor pool are all within walking distance. A romantic lake called Schachen is about a 5-minute drive away. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles are about a 45-minute drive away. The thermal baths in Bad Wörishofen and the Allgäu Skyline Park are about a 30-minute drive away.<br>You can also reach the Allgäu Alps—for hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and more—in about 30–45 minutes by car.
