For us this property had it all! The view is spectacular and there's so much to see in this quaint (former home)town. The apartment is gorgeous, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Highly recommend with 10 stars!

Idyllic view from above

Perfect location, center of old town with view of all the comings and going of Harlingen! Water view, complete with draw bridge action and charming boat views. Short walk to shopping and wonderful restaurants. People watching at its best, with a panoramic view. Highly recommend!

We spent a week in this beautiful apartment right in the historic centre of Harlingen and enjoyed every single day.Janneke is a wonderful and very welcoming host who has furnished the apartment very stylishly with great attention to detail. You immediately feel at home and the apartment has everything you need. We have rarely had such a perfectly equipped holiday apartment.The highlight of the apartment, apart from the incredibly comfortable and large bed in the bedroom, is of course its location right by the Zuiderhaven. It was simply wonderful to enjoy the view of the hustle and bustle in the harbour and Harlingen's old town from the living room through the large windows, sitting on the window sills or in one of the comfortable chairs with a glass of wine ;-) If you want to visit Harlingen, this apartment is definitely the best place to stay in the whole of Harlingen and Janneke is the best host you could imagine.

Wonderful Stay at Suder Haven Harlingen

As shown in the pictures, the rental has the best view in Harlingen of comings and goings on the canal. Two of us were there for a week and two additional with with us for four days. The rental is very clean and well maintained. The furniture and beds are comfortable and nice bed linens and towels. The kitchen has everything you need and again attention to detail was evident. There are good restaurants and shops very close. The Albert Heijn and a bakery is close, only a few minutes walk. The communication was very good, always getting a response and check in was easy. A very relaxing place to stay. You will not be disappointed. We had a lovely reception for us upon arrival of wine, flowers, etc. We hope to return. Thank you Janneke.

One week in Harlingen

The flat lies in the center of Harlingen and gives you a real great view of a canal and a drawbridge with sailingships passing. However, there is no disturbing noise. Both the livingroom with a complete kitchen and the sleeping room (in the first floor, as the ground floor does not belong to the flat) are spacy to feel comfortably. The toilet is situated an the same floor, but the shower is on the floor above, together with a second sleeping room. The stairs to the rooms on either floor are very steep and not practical for people with handicaps or little children. The stairs are open to the rooms, meaning no doors. We enjoyed our stay very much, in spite of the described problems with the stairs.

was man unbedingt wissen muß: die Wohnung verfügt über zwei sehr steile Treppen, das einzige Bad befindet sich im Dachgeschoss, die einzige Toilette im 1. OG, das Schlafzimmer im 1. OG ist vom Flur voll einsehbar, da nur durch Glastüren vom Flur getrennt. Das 2. Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Dachgeschoss, erreichbar über die 2. steile Treppe. Aufenthalt war ok. Die sicht auf die Häfen ist sehr gut, Geschäfte befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe

Trotz zentraler Lage ruhig, grossartige Aussicht am Hafen, sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Vermieterin, praktische Küche mit allem Notwendigen, gemütlicher Wohn-/Essbereich, gute Betten.Ein Schlafraum ist nur durch eine Glastür/-trennwand begrenzt. Mit guten Freunden (oder als Familie geht das tipptopp. Ingesamt haben wir hier eine wunderbare Woche verbringen dürfen.

Ein erholsamer Urlaub

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, morgens kann man im Hafen die Schiffe beobachten. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett. In der Wohnung gibt es liebevolle Kleinigkeiten, man fühlt sich zu Hause. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel kann man sehr gut einige andere Städte besuchen Z.B Sneek oder Leuwarden. Die Wohnung kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Perfekte Wohnung und Lage

Wir sind schon zum 2. Mal in dieser geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung gewesen, weil die Aussicht und Lage am Hafen einmalig ist. Von Harlingen aus kann man schöne Ausflüge ans Ijsselmeer, nach Leuwaarden oder Groningen unternehmen. Und auch das Wetter war perfekt :-)

Beste Wahl

Diese Wohnung ist die beste Wahl, wenn man in Harlingen eine Unterkunft sucht. Mitten im Leben der Stadt mit allen Vorteilen und trotzdem ein Rückzugsort mit Wohlfühlcharakter. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts! Jannecke ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Lediglich, die steilen Treppen, um in die Wohnung zu gelangen und des Weiteren in die zweite Etage (Badezimmer und zusätzliches Schlafzimmer) können ein Hinderungsgrund sein, wenn man mit Personen reist, die keine steile Treppe gehen können. Für uns war das kein Problem. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt und wünschen allen einen ebenso schönen Aufenthalt dort, wie wir ihn hatten.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung gefällt uns sehr gut. Allerdings sind die Treppen ziemlich steil, also weniger für sehr kleine Kinder und nicht ganz trittsichere Personen geeignet.
