Vacation apartment Groß in the Ore Mountains

Our beautiful vacation rental is located in the heart of the forest-edged village of Königswalde. The house was built in 1747, and we purchased it in 2010. With a lot of love and dedication, we completely renovated it by 2021. The vacation rental was completed that same year and looks forward to welcoming every guest! It’s centrally located in Königswalde, so you can easily reach many places on foot, such as our Penny supermarket, a hair salon, several bakeries, a church, a doctor’s office, the “Bergelt” stationery store, as well as a playground and a Sparkasse ATM. A hospital and pharmacy are located about 8 km away in Annaberg-Buchholz.
The town of Königswalde is right next to Annaberg-Buchholz and close to the Czech Republic.
About 25 km away is the Fichtelberg with its beautiful ski slopes and hiking trails. The vacation rental is at ground level; there are only 2 steps to navigate at the front door. From there, you enter a shared entryway (used by both the landlord and the tenant) before entering the vacation rental through a separate, lockable entrance. This means you have the ground-floor apartment all to yourself. We, the landlords, live on the upper floor. Sometimes you might be greeted by our cat or our small dog.
In our vacation rental, you’ll find a kitchen, a living room with a dining table, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a bathtub. There’s also enough space in the bedroom for a travel crib you bring along.
Please make sure to always close the windows and doors when leaving the apartment. Next to the house is a small green area with a table and chairs, which you’re welcome to use. There’s a parking spot right next to the house (marked with red paving). We ask that you leave the vacation rental as clean as possible upon check-out.
Small dogs are welcome, but there is an additional cleaning fee of €10 upon arrival (please pay this on site). Check-in is available starting at 3:00 p.m., and check-out should be by 10:30 a.m.
