Overall the property and cabin are AMAZING! The housekeeping, however, was a bit subpar. We got in late first night and noticed the master bath toilet was sealed but had a lot of staining. As if not scrubbed well. We left early the next morning to go out sightseeing and got back late the next evening and found sour cream and onion potato chip (not something we brought with us, and yes i unfortunately picked up with my fingers) remnants shoved underneath the ridge of cabinets on the floor in master bath. This made the hair all over the floor and in corners more noticeable, not to mention the fact that the stairs appeared to not have been swept/vacuumed in weeks. I managed to tidy up and move past all of this and move on to our next day of kayaking on the Toccoa. After our return from the river, I went to run a simple load of laundry, only to find a single white wash cloth covered in dog hair (as well as the entire washer covered in dog hair) which resulted in yet another heavy duty clean on my part... yay for vacation. At this point I'd had enough and called the after hours number to report my concerns. The woman I spoke with was apologetic but offered no resolution to the issues. Overall, I feel like the Master Bath and washing machine were what got most overlooked, but how do you overlook the MASTER- where guests are most likely to stay?!? I did leave a 20 tip for the housekeeper in hopes they would do a better job for the next guest. Just expected more care for the cost.
