Great location for the heart of Munich as well as for the Oktoberfest festivities! Owner was very friendly and extremely responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Even though property we booked had a maintenance issue which popped up 2 days before our scheduled date an alternative property was sourced which was fine and a free car park was provided for the inconvenience. 5 star host

This apartment was in a great location, walkable to the train station, tour bus pickup, the Marienplatz and more. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and grocery stores too. Would definitely recommend it for a family getaway in Munich!

Great central location

My family loved our stay. It was very close to restaurants and attractions. We loved the ability to wake up and buy cappuccino and baked goods every morning at a close by cafe. A short walk took us to Marienplatz where there were many shops, museums, restaurants, and of course, Biergartens! We were very comfortable with the accommodations which met our needs well.

We enjoyed our stay here. We are not big city people, but we did not have any issues with noise at all when we were in the apartment. Parking is not included, additional cost per day or park a block away at a ramp for a little less cost per day. Walking distance to food, drinks, tourist attractions.

Needs a clean up

The floors need a decent scrubbing and there is mold in the shower. Neighborhood is a bit rough. A lot of young men just standing around. The women in our group were uncomfortable walking around.

We are sorry that mold has appeared in the shower. We have of course had it professionally removed immediately. We have also looked at the flooring and will now carry out more frequent checks to ensure that this does not happen again. We can only apologize to you for this. As for the neighborhood, the apartments are centrally located in the city center, near the main train station, I think that the picture of Munich is not much different from other big cities. Despite this image, Munich is still one of the safest cities in Europe. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us.

Good location, clean, plenty of space. The VRBO description is different than actually layout. When our guest number was updated in VRBO the property owner was not notified therefore we were initially short beds and linens.

Enjoyed our visit in Munich

Everything about the apartment was very nice. Our apartment was on the fourth floor, and there was a small elevator (big enough for two people) in addition to wide stairs going up. The apartment was clean, and they supplied one set of towels each for the three of us. The kitchen was just okay, but not great. Also, there was parking in an inside garage for our vehicle with an extra charge of $30 a night. The neighborhood wasn’t anything special, surrounded by a number of small hotels, and a bit noisy late at night. Bottom line, we enjoyed our stay, again everything okay, but nothing special.

Place with pros and cons

No air conditioning other than a couple of portable units they brought in that were noisy for the bedrooms. If you’re coming to Munich in hot weather we wouldn’t recommend this apartment. Bath and a half, not 2 Upstairs bedroom very nice and large for “master”. Kitchen a bit makeshift so if you plan a lot of cooking not recommended (we didn’t so it was fine). Other spaces were quite decent. Location was outstanding, only a block and a half from Hauptbahnhof.

Cancelled 2 hours before check in

We never got to see the apartment as VRBO cancelled our reservation due to water damage 2 hour prior to check in. We had already arrived in the city from the airport and were essentially left to figure it out on our own as VRBO had nothing available. It was an absolutely frustrating experience. Cannot accurately review the apartment as we never stepped foot inside.
