We combine the advantages of a small family-run business with the high standards of luxury apartments. Embark on an eventful and relaxing journey in a dreamlike landscape, a tranquil setting, and a family-run inn that’s perfectly suited for your adventures.

For active vacationers, Elmar offers daily snowshoe hikes, introductory snowshoeing courses, and proper map-reading lessons specifically for backcountry hikers in the winter. In the summer, enjoy flower-viewing or mountain hikes.
We highly recommend our “GENIEßER” VACATION APARTMENT FOR 2 PEOPLE, featuring a bedroom furnished with knotty oak and Relax infrared heating beds—a highlight for those seeking relaxation. The Rief Apartment is tailored to the needs of adults; therefore, only adults (ages 16 and up) are permitted in the Rief apartment.

Every Saturday, your vacation begins on the way there!
Take the ICE from Berlin, Hamburg, or Dortmund to Ulm. In Ulm, simply transfer to the SHUTTLEBUS heading toward the Tannheim Valley.


Check-in times are between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.



For arrivals between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., we charge a surcharge of 40 euros.
Arrivals after 7:00 p.m. are not possible.
No key safe available.
Check-out times are between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Naturally Sustainable


The beautiful nature surrounding us is important to us, which is why we want to protect it sustainably and avoid using plastic bottles.

Tannheim sets an example when it comes to drinking water; a total of three springs provide the highest quality drinking water, which needs to be protected.

recommend that our guests use glass bottles—let’s work together to protect
our environment!


Towel and Shower Towel Changes

For stays of less than 7 days, a surcharge will be applied for towel and shower towel changes. (Environmental considerations)
