The house is well maintained and the host really thought of all the little touches to make an enjoyable stay. We really enjoyed the mountain views and the game room! Would definitely recommend.

This was by far the best house we have ever stayed at. It was very clean and was very well stocked with anything we could have needed. Coffee on the screened in porch while listening to the rain was the best way to wake up. It was perfect for our group!

We fell in love with this place! This was our first trip to Lake Lure and we can’t wait to come back. This home was perfect for our family of five. The kids loved the game room, the hot tub, and the bunk bed room downstairs. We couldn’t believe the view of the mountains. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and having dinner outside with the mountain view in the backdrop. We also enjoyed the screened porch during a few rainstorms. What a place!

We loved our stay!

This is a great, CLEAN house and the location can’t be beat! Chimney Rock and the beach are within 5 minutes, as are shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed and more to be comfortable. It was very peaceful and relaxing.

Birthday Getaway

Enjoyed our short trip to the Chimney Rock/Lake Lure area. Location was perfect and only 10 minutes from parks/trails. Property was very clean with many thoughtful guest amenities to make the stay comfortable and convenient. We really appreciated the many different spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain vibe. Communication was also excellent. One note is to try not to be startled by the falling acorns on the roof from the two large oak trees next to the home. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful home in a great location

Our family loved our long weekend here. The house is spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. We loved starting the day with coffee on the screened porch, the views were amazing. The quick drive into town and local parks and hiking trails was so easy based on the convenient location. The afternoons and evenings were spent enjoying quiet time in one of the many cozy spots throughout the house, playing games in the garage and relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals together around the large dining table, also perfect for playing card and board games. It was a lovely stay and we hope to be back soon!

Thanksgiving 2025

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice, relaxing time in Lake Lure. The house was well appointed, and the location was very good. The view from the deck was great, until it got cold outside 😊. We enjoyed the house very much and since my wife is in a wheelchair, the open floor plan was well suited. Just one observation, and it is not a sticking point with us, but the seat in the master bathroom shower was installed a little low. That is more of a general observation, but it wouldn’t stop us from renting the house again. Our grandkids enjoyed spending time in the hot tube! We visited the town and went over to Chimney Rock to spend a couple hours there also. We had a nice lunch at the River Watch Bar & Grill while there. The recovery has been amazing in both towns even though there is still a lot left to do. Over all the week was great and we will probably be back.

Exceeded Expectations

We LOVED this house! Being a new rental with limited reviews, we were skeptical. However, the property was amazing. Clean and well stocked, open and spacious, and full of well thought out spaces. We were traveling with our son and a friend in their 20’s. The downstairs apartment was perfect for them (beautifully renovated bathroom, separate kitchen, and fridge). Our teenage daughter (15), and niece (10), (as well as the twenty somethings) loved the renovated garage featuring a pool table, ping pong table, huge TV, and hot tub right outside. We ate family dinners and played board games in the renovated kitchen with large table. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Location couldn’t have been better…3 minutes to Lake Lure Beach and 5 minutes to Chimney Rock State Park. Would definitely rent again…really lovely house.
