Sea Gypsy is a one-bedroom condo on a laid-back stretch of Mustang Island, built for the kind of getaway where the to-do list is short and the beach is closer than the coffee maker. Coastal blues, breezy textures, and a leave-your-shoes-at-the-door ease greet you the moment you step inside. At 620 square feet, it's compact and cleverly arranged — small in footprint, generous in feel.
The living room stays simple and sun-washed: a comfortable sofa, a TV for slow mornings and rainy afternoons, and a queen pullout that quietly brings the sleeping count to four. A fully equipped kitchen handles everything from a quick breakfast before a beach day to a fresh-catch dinner after one, and the adjoining dining area seats four for card games, island takeout, or a long, unhurried meal. The bedroom is a calm corner of its own, anchored by a queen bed in the same soft coastal palette. An in-unit washer and dryer take care of the sandy towels so you don't have to think about them.
Step out of the building and the Gulf is a short walk away, where Mustang Island's wide, drive-on beaches run for miles — made for barefoot wandering, surf fishing, or claiming a patch of sand under an umbrella for the day. When you've had your fill, the community pool sits just outside your door for a freshwater rinse without the drive.
The location splits the difference between two of the Coastal Bend's best escapes. Fifteen minutes north puts you in the heart of Port Aransas, where Roberts Point Park, the jetties, and Horace Caldwell Pier pull in anglers and dolphin-watchers, and Alister Street rounds out the day with seafood shacks, local shops, and ice cream stops. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
