The accommodation
The location of this apartment—the highest one on traffic-calmed Lidellplatz, right in the heart of downtown Karlsruhe—is truly unique. Bars, shopping, and the castle are all within a 5-minute walk. The children’s playground, with adjacent cafes and restaurants, is right on your doorstep

The apartment is conveniently accessible by elevator on the 6th floor of an apartment building. Ideal for strollers and wheelchair users.

The apartment itself is equipped with an automatic electronic access control system, ensuring a high standard of security.

From the balcony and bedroom, you can look out over the city’s rooftops.

There is one bedroom with a large double bed.

Up to 5 additional guests can stay in the large, sun-drenched living/sleeping/dining area. There is a sofa bed and a second pull-out sofa available. An additional sleeping arrangement can be provided upon request, allowing the large apartment to accommodate up to 7 guests.
A large dining table seats up to 6 people.

The renovated bathroom features a bathtub with a shower combination. The toilet is located in a separate room.

The fully equipped modern kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, 4-burner stove, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, etc., also offers space for up to 3 guests to have breakfast.

There are enough pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils to make you feel right at home in the kitchen.

The kitchen follows the “Green Dot” recycling system.
People who move from place to place frequently don’t want to go grocery shopping every time after a long trip. That’s why guests will find everything they need for meals and cooking—such as coffee, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), powdered milk, oil, vinegar, spices, salt, flour, pasta, rice, ketchup, sauce, etc.—already marked with a green dot. These food items are included and will not be thrown away after departure, as is common in many apartments. If you’d like to leave something behind, please mark the food items with a green dot as well.

The bathroom and kitchen are tiled, and the rest of the apartment features hardwood or laminate flooring. There is an additional outdoor dining set available on the balcony.

During the day, only paid parking spaces are available in front of the building. However, there are free 24-hour parking zones about 100 meters away. There are also several paid parking garages nearby. Directions will be provided after booking
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the entire apartment and the balcony. The apartment is not shared with anyone else.

One of the top spots for breakfast in a family-friendly atmosphere is Café Palaver in the neighboring courtyard. For a relaxing atmosphere and great drinks, check out the laid-back Café Bohne or the excellent Carlos Cocktail Bar, both located right on the square.
Additional Important Information
Karlsruhe is currently building a subway system. There is no construction noise in the apartment or at Lidellplatz, and the apartment is not directly affected by the work. However, navigating the area is very difficult even for locals, as construction sites and road layouts change weekly.
