This beautiful spot offers a terrific base for your getaway located on 82 acres of private property with trails to enjoy around the property and two waterfalls. Less than a mile from 2 lake keowee landings and highfalls county park. Plenty of room to park your lake toys take a bike ride or enjoy a kayak provided on the property. Come and enjoy our peace and quiet 20 minutes from downtown Clemson and 10 minutes from both downtown Walhalla and Seneca.

A little further out than I thought. Other than that, everything else was great. Would stay there again. The host was super nice and answered any question that I had. I had a very pleasant stay.

Punch List: 1. Needs a top sheet on both beds. 2. Needs a cover for the light bulb in the kitchen. 3. Label the remote light controls above them and on the remote itself because they all look alike. 4. Label should include what light in what room it controls. 5. How do you turn on the light fixture above the kitchen table? We could never find the control? 5. Unfinished trim work around doors. They are not pre-hung doors. No frame. They are just attached to a 2 by 4 with hinges resulting in a one inch see through crack in the bathroom. 6. Need finishing nails rather that sheet rock screws in most places or just cover (fill in) the screw holes with caulking and paint over them. 7. Take the rusted half-hung back screen door missing the bottom screen off the back door. 8. Clean up the trash in the backyard so one can make it to the backyard grill. 9. The window unit air conditions kept the place cool, but the curtains were held back with bread ties (really?). Get some screw in cup hooks and a colored rope or sash. To be fair, the place was immaculate, and the owner was a dream to work with. You can bring your dog, let your sister and brother-in-law stay over, all at the same price. There is plenty of room on the property to bring your boat or water ski. It would make a great rustic fish camp. But the carpentry has a lot of flaws.

To be honest. I can see where I could do a lot better. A little back history, I am over EHS globally fpr 2 sectors of my company travel a great deal etc. I am no builder, carpenter, or designer. I wanted to show my 13 yr old son last summer what hard work and effort will make. We completely gutted it and hired no one. Yes, there are some things left unfinished. Yes, there are some things we could have done better. There are still many things we are going to do. The back was graded yesterday all fresh gravel, privacy fence going up today. Originally it was just going to be for outage workers. My now 14 yr old son it is his responsibility to keep up with it and manage. I simply communicate but as dads I ofcourse will step in amd help him. Thank you for your feedback soo helpful, I tell both my kids the best thing you can ask for in life is critical feedback, otherwise you may not see your flaws and grow from it.

Growing up in the Keowee community it's where I call home. I still know the lakes and rivers and trails like the back of my hand. My grandpa was always my best friend, I didn't mind the fact I was his side kick. After getting through college and serving 10 years in the Army and now leading a global corporate role that has allowed me and my family to travel many places. I overlooked and took for granted the farm along with the fact the lake, the mountains and the rivers are a getaway to many. I started cleaning up the old farm. Clearing out the old trails, the creek banks, the 4wheeler trails. Building a barn home on the property I started then to think about the future generations. After investing in real-estate and creating a business from that. I then started focusing on short term rentals which provide outage workers a home away from home while providing support to Duke Energy. I in turn wanted to provide get aways close to the lake but very clean and affordable rentals to enjoy our area of the foothills. I fully gutted and remodeled this mobile home on the property. As I continue to update the surrounding property many more short term rentals will be available. Stay posted! An thank you for viewing!

Very quiet, my family is the second to youngest family. Great for taking walks. Looking for arrowheads after a good rain and the field is plowed. I added 46.5 acres in 2019 to the original 25 acres my grandfather left my family to inherit. The kids can ride thier atvs, dirtbikes, side by side. It's all agricultural property the seasons are beautiful. Its secluded yet still close enough to everything.

Definitely the creeks that surround the property with two waterfalls and is a great place for kids to simply be kids. Read in the quiet sit beside the waterfalls and let the water drown out all other noise in life.
