The vacation home, the Mayerhof Country Villa, is a romantic retreat in the sunny paradise of the southern Black Forest (Hotzenwald). This detached vacation home, available for exclusive use, is fully and luxuriously equipped for up to 5 guests (for more than 5 guests, please inquire separately). It is located in the center of the small rural village of Glashütten, a district of the health resort town of Rickenbach. A beautiful hilly landscape at an elevation of 830 m invites you to explore its wonderful walking trails; on clear days, you can see the Swiss Alps from the trails. The former large barn of the original 300-year-old Hotzenwaldhaus was renovated by local craftsmen into an oasis of well-being that is sure to delight you. With its 204 m² of living space, including a loft, the house offers accommodations for up to 5 people. The house captivates with its high, light-filled rooms, the large wooden loft (80 m²) with hardwood floors in the upper living area, the beautiful steam sauna, and a
3-meter movie screen that invites you to enjoy a film (some DVDs are available on-site). From the loft, on a clear day, you can see the magnificent Swiss Alps—just as you can from the walking trails in the village. The lower living area (120 m²) features luxurious furnishings and a modern kitchen fully equipped with all appliances. Cooking enthusiasts will love preparing delicious meals here. Espresso coffee machines and a drip coffee maker, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator, freezers, and a washer/dryer combo are, of course, included. The kitchen features a window overlooking the west side of the village and the south side of the garden. The bright, spacious living-dining room is furnished with designer furniture, a dining table for 6 people with a chandelier, comfortable armchairs, and a sofa with armchairs. A lovely corner of the living area is the fireplace room with a marble fireplace. The lower living area also includes two bedrooms: one with a double bed for two people and a single room for one person. A baby crib can be added upon request. Another large king-size bed (2 x 2 m) is located on the spacious attic loft, along with an additional single bed (90 x 200 cm). The house has two bathrooms. Bathrobes, bed linens, hand towels, and sauna towels are included. The house offers plenty of space, with several seating areas on two levels. Games for adults and children, as well as internet (Wi-Fi), are available. From the living room, you have a view of the south-facing garden, which you can access via an outdoor staircase directly from the living room. In the summer, the south-facing terrace and lawn, along with sun loungers and a grill, invite you to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The entire south side of the garden is shielded from prying eyes by a natural hedge.
Sleds are also available for your use in the winter. A wonderful atmosphere for couples, friends, and families in every season.
Electricity and heating (oil) costs are billed based on actual consumption. Currently, electricity costs €0.60 per kWh and heating oil costs €1.80 per liter.
The final cleaning fee for the Landhausvilla is €150.00.
