Black Bear Cottage 2-bedroom cabin in Belgrade perfect for a relaxing getaway

This memorable cabin is the perfect home base for your trip to Belgrade.

The cabin is a 1 minute walk to the dock on Great Pond. This year round cottage is great for fresh water fishing and ice fishing! Bring or rent a boat from the local marina and dock it! You will have your own dock slip, trailer parking and boat launch. We do have 2 adult kayaks and one 1 youth kayak for your use next to our screened in porch.

Enjoy water views while the kids enjoy the swings and play in the water at the common area. It contains two fire pits, chairs and picnic tables.

Located 15 minutes to Augusta for shopping and family fun. Rent one of 5 cottages next door to make it a family gathering!

It has a full kitchen with washer and dryer. A table for 4 and a nice little kitchen bar for extra seating.

Living room with a large flat screen where you can login to your own accounts to enjoy some down time.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with two twin bunk beds. One of them has a trundle sleeping 5 in the second bedroom. We also have a queen size pull out sofa in the living room. This is for a maximum of 8 guests for a family with smaller kids. The upper bunk beds are not recommended for teenagers or adults as the space is tight.

Ceilings are low inside so please be careful when ceiling fans are on.

For adults it’s a maximum of 6 per stay.

Bathroom has a stand up shower and plenty of towels for your use.

We have our own screened in porch with our own personal grill. If the propane runs out you can fill it at Christy’s down the street if you would like to use it. With us not being up there, we won’t be able to fill it for each guest, unfortunately.

Free WiFi provided Spectrum-04 password is in the house.

The storage closet has board games as well as the club house down in the common area. There are also a few life jackets for use as well.

We have parking for two vehicles right next to our patio entrance. Please do not park on the grass You can use the boat trailer marked #6 across from the boat launch for overflow parking.

No animals of any kind are permitted as myself and son are very allergic.

We do not allow smoking of any kind inside the cottage. Thank you for being respectful. If there is any indication of smoking inside the cabin there will be a $200 fine.

We also ask you do not leave any cigarette butts on the premises. There are a lot of little children and dogs roaming around. If found there will be a $100 fine. Please help keep the camp and docking area clean.
