Our 120-square-meter apartment is located on the upper and top floors of our lovingly renovated two-family home. The living spaces are housed in the former rooms of a leather bag factory dating back to around 1900. Our cozy retreat is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town center of Herrstein.
It’s especially important to us to make your vacation as stress-free as possible—especially for parents—by providing everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing family getaway.
The narrow hallway offers plenty of space for your coats and shoes. The antique wooden staircase leads you into the vacation rental. The high-quality, fully equipped kitchen invites you to prepare delicious meals or linger at the dining table for a hearty breakfast.
In the living room, a cozy sofa in front of the TV awaits you for relaxing evenings. The cabinet is stocked with board games, art supplies, and books. For older kids, a PlayStation with games and DVDs/Blu-rays is available.
The first bathroom on the upper floor is equipped with a bathtub and a toilet. Bath products and bath toys are sure to delight both parents and children alike. The master bedroom is located right next to the children’s room.
In the master bedroom, a large bed ensures a restful night’s sleep. A crib can be set up right next to the parents’ bed, giving our youngest guests the sense of security they need. The master bedroom opens onto the balcony, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and soak up the sun.
The enchanting children’s room leaves nothing to be desired. It’s equipped with a pull-out bed (max. 160x200 cm) and a custom-built castle bed (2x 90x200 cm), inviting little knights and princesses to play, climb, run around, and relax. The children’s room thus offers space for up to 4 children or 2 children and 2 adults.
To keep boredom at bay, a wide variety of toys (Lego, wooden train set, puzzles, skittles, toy cars, fishing game, etc.), books, and stuffed animals are available in the children’s room. You’re also welcome to use the toy vehicles parked at the carport across the street.
Another staircase leads up to the attic, where you’ll find another small room with a sofa bed and the second spacious bathroom with a toilet and shower. An adjoining room houses a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, ironing board, and iron.
