Our lovingly designed, pet-friendly accommodations are easily accessible by car, motorcycle, or via the ICE train station in Montabaur, located 7 km away. We’d also be happy to arrange a suitable rental car for you upon request.

Our home is ideal for cycling, motorcycling, horseback riding, and hiking excursions into nature. A modern playground and sports field is located in the immediate vicinity. Excursions to Koblenz, the Deutsches Eck, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, the national nature reserve in Nassau, as well as the World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, or the beautiful old town of Limburg can be reached in about 20–30 minutes by car. Other attractions worth visiting, such as downtown Bad Ems, the Limesturm tower in Hillscheid, the Bad Ems thermal baths, and the breathtaking castle in Montabaur, are within easy reach. The adjacent Gelbach Valley is perfect for biking and hiking tours through picturesque natural scenery. In the summer, Lake Herthasee in Holzappel, the Montabaur swimming pool, and the Krombach Dam in Rehe—which offers home-style dining at Ponte Rosa—provide the perfect way to cool off.

Our 150-square-meter country house, with approximately 700 square meters of fully fenced garden and outdoor space, is ideal for children and pets. A small pond with a babbling stream completes the picture of this lovingly designed garden. With unobstructed views of meadows and fields, your stay is sure to be relaxing. For children, we provide play and art supplies as well as some outdoor toys. Our beautiful, spacious, and very tastefully landscaped outdoor area—featuring a private garage, hot tub, greenhouse, garden shed for social game nights, and a patio for barbecuing—invites you to relax and linger. Additional garden amenities, such as a grill, outdoor seating, and lounge chairs, are available for your use. The soapstone stove in the open-concept living area is perfect for cozy evenings.

The detached country house, finished in real wood, features a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, oven, coffee maker, microwave, and ceramic cooktop. The spacious living-dining area, which opens onto a sunroom, offers direct access to the outdoor terrace and gardens. The spacious corner couch in the living room seats 6 people, where you can wind down at the end of the day with TV nights together and the romantic warmth of the fireplace. Next to the two guest bedrooms is a fully equipped bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet. Adjacent to the master bedroom is another fully equipped bathroom with a corner bathtub, shower, and toilet. The utility room, equipped with a washer, dryer, and fridge-freezer, is located next to the living area. A raclette grill, fondue set, grilling utensils, and more are also available for your use.

Ample parking is available on our property. Our carport has space for 1–2 cars. Our fully enclosed courtyard can accommodate 3–4 cars.
