The “Hubenbauer” is a quaint farmhouse in the beautiful Mura Valley. The basic structure of the house is over 300 years old, and it charms visitors with its spacious rooms—some featuring vaulted ceilings—and cozy atmosphere. It is an old farmhouse that is being gradually renovated but is perfectly livable. A large kitchen-diner, a beautiful dining room, and an old parlor with a bar offer plenty of space for cooking, dining, gathering, and relaxing. The house has three large bedrooms with double beds; extra beds can be provided upon request. There is also a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, as well as a separate toilet. Outside, a large garden with seating areas and views of the countryside offers peace and relaxation; a gazebo and a grill are also available.
Parking is available directly on the property.
The farm is located right off the S36 at the Unzmarkt exit (about 15 minutes to the Judenburg highway on-ramp). Centrally located in the Mur Valley, Unzmarkt serves as a starting point for activities in the region: the Kreischberg, the Lachtal, the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, and several hiking areas such as the Zirbitzkogel Nature Park, the Eselsberger Alm, or the Sölktaler Alps are accessible by car or via the Murtalbahn. The Wallersbach train stop is right outside the front door and offers a direct connection to the Unzmarkt train station (ÖBB) or service toward Murau and Tamsweg. Cyclists are also well taken care of: located right on the Murradweg R2 bike path, the “Hubenbauer” serves as a starting point or rest stop for extensive bike tours from Murau to Graz.
