Inside, the house stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Guests can relax while watching marine life such as seals, otters and the occasional whale. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or exploring outdoors, this excellent home offers a cozy retreat. We think our place will help you experience everything Hood Canal has to offer.

This cozy Beach House was very clean. So perfect for a great getaway from home. Beach Access was nice if you like paddle boarding, kayaking or just floating around. Felt like I was at home. We will definitely be back for a visit. This one you don't want to miss!

What a great place to stay on the Hood Canal! The views were incredible and the hosts had it set up to make you feel at home. They thought of everything. We had gorgeous weather for most of our stay but some rain, thunder and lightning, too. A great place for watching storms! Lots of great hiking trails down the road at Alderbrook and make sure you eat som Olympic Creameries ice cream during your stay - it was to die for! A five-star place for sure!

We just returned from a 3-day stay at this wonderful home. We've stayed at many VRBO homes and, surprisingly, they often don't have everything you need to make you feel at home. That's not the case here. Not only does the kitchen have everything you need (and more), every room seems to have been well thought out to help insure guests have what they need to experience a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Then there's the view! Whether you relax under the covered patio or on the comfortable furniture in the house, the view is incredible. We particularly spent a lot of our time on the two swival chairs positioned perfectly next to the window, giving us wonderful views while sipping lattes in the morning or a glass of wine while watching the sunset. The second floor bedooms each have great views too, and we enjoyed sleeping with the sliding glass doors open so that we could listen to the lapping waves and feel the cool fresh sea breeze before we fell asleep every night.All in all, we had a great time and have already booked a few more days with some friends for next month!

Gorgeous set up right on the warmest water on the Canal. The house is one of the best appointed vacation homes we've ever rented. The owners are basically renting out their well loved "favorite place" and it shows by the high quality and detail of everything.Comfortable king sized bed(s) that overlook the water with the sound of lapping tides to lull you to some of the best sleep you've had in a while.3 new baths, and beautiful comfortable furniture throughout. The fully loaded kitchen is a chef 's dream and the covered outdoor seating/dining area is made to enjoy that beach that is literally just feet away. Quiet neighborhood to allow you to relax, unwind and unplug. TVs abound, but don't bother, with the changing tide, seal visits and the constantly changing sky, take time to enjoy what's right in front of you. And yes you can actually swim here, especially high tide. Bring your water shoes, sunscreen, sun shirt, hat, that book you never have time to read and groceries and enjoy it all.Thank you Terry and Sally this is a magical place and we loved every minute.
