Achterhuus Malia: Vacation Home for 8 People with a Fireplace and Sauna

Spacious wellness vacation home with a sauna and wood-burning stove!<br><br>Located in Grimersum (about 5 km past Greetsiel), it features 4 bedrooms (one on the first floor) and 2 bathrooms with showers, accommodating 8 people (also ideal for 2 families, for example). The sauna and wood-burning stove make this a great vacation spot—not just in the summer. The beautiful exposed wooden beams and nautical decor give the house a very special character.<br>On the first floor is the spacious living/dining area with large doors leading out to the patio. The beautiful garden, complete with a garden shed and outdoor furniture, invites you to relax and spend time outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and more.<br><br>In the directly adjacent utility room, you’ll find a washing machine, a dryer, an iron, and an ironing board. The ground-floor bathroom features a shower, toilet, bidet, and sauna. <br><br>One of the (master) bedrooms (double bed) is also located on the first floor, making it a great option for hosting grandparents.<br>On the upper floor, there are 3 additional bedrooms (1 with a double bed, 2 each with 2 single beds), all of which are carpeted, as well as another shower room.<br><br>The house offers free internet access (we cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed). <br><br>Please note that bedding booked as an add-on will not be made up.<br><br>During the vacation season, only weekly bookings with Saturday as the check-in day are generally permitted.<br><br>One pet (dog) is permitted upon request and for a fee.<br><br>For business bookings (technicians), a security deposit is required; please contact us for details.<br><br>The canal nearby (“Hafen,” 50 m away) connects to Greestiel and Emden; in summer by (paddle)boat, and in winter, sometimes by ice skates!<br>The house is located across from the “Kiek-Wiet” and “Wiesenblick” houses—which are also available for rent—in an absolutely quiet residential area (dead-end street). A lovely public playground is just a few steps away, so you can let the children go there on their own.<br>The vacation home is located in charming Grimersum, a quiet village near Greetsiel in East Frisia. Surrounded by green meadows and idyllic waterways, the location offers the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoying nature. Biking and hiking trails wind through the expansive countryside and along the typical East Frisian canals, inviting you to take leisurely excursions. The popular harbor town of Greetsiel, with its twin windmills, small shops, and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ drive away. An ideal location to experience authentic East Frisia and enjoy the proximity to the North Sea.<br><br>You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be arranged during the booking process or at any time afterward for a fee.
